If your employer asks you, or you're deciding to open an account with them. Don't. First, this app doesn't have all the same options that other banks do, especially security measures like locking your card. When it comes to transfers or returns they make you wait 7-10 days for anything to go through. The app is also nothing like the website. They're website is just like the app they no longer use. Very inconvenient. The bank puts their needs above yours, always and they're policies reflect that.

It's a decent app but it's just so oversimplified there's a lack of clear information when you need it. Making transfers, checking balance, stuff like that, it works great. But if you need to dispute a charge good luck. There's not even customer support besides a phone # which when I called no one picked up. Doesn't have the security of a real bank. Also really dislike the update that requires your card info to do anything, just pointless/annoying since the whole app is locked by password anyway

It's a bare bones app. Wasn't very well thought out. Has gaps in the information being recognized and applied to where it needs to be. Does not have the ability to update card and you have to do that online. Very confusing when it says you have a balance on a card that is no longer activated when it should be on the activated and most recent card. Even more confusing when customer service uses the numbers on the back of the card when referring to your account. ok otherwise.

Today, 3/15/2024, I was scheduled to be paid, and I was. My problem is that I was expecting to have $339.02 ,and did for 60 seconds. The ATM , an Allpoints machine , failed to disperse any money, and it indicated on the receipt that it had given me the amount requested. I was forced to use an alternative machine and after attempting to get enough to pay a bill, it refused to allow me to obtain the additional required amount. As of 6/29/225, the app for Rapid works great.

Ive been using this app for three years because of work. It's unreliable. It locks me out constantly and no not user error. The only redeeming factor was the transfer system from the card account to my bank was easy. Now they changed it without warning, and i dont have access to my money, so i can't pay my bills. Im livid. To Employers looking for a good option look somewhere else. Their customer service is unhelpful most the time and causes more issues then it helps.

I wound up with this card via employer. Why any employer would use such a garbage company is beyond me. You're limited to 5 card transactions a day. Constant problems with address verification for online orders. Unexplained money depleted from account. Outsourced customer service with a several second delay. $300 ATM withdrawal daily limit. Transferring money doesn't work. Endless problems and as you can see from the reviews they couldn't care less.

really good for keeping up with your stuff, but the fees, and the app lag is wild. it will try to long in and then restart and restart and then I can't go back in the app for abt 2 hours. it's always that same bug. but I would appreciate it if they went and tried to stop it. or make it better to where I don't bug out like that. maybe fix it and stuff and I'll give u 5 stars but until then. it's so buggy. please fix.

The app itself is fine, I guess. I could overlook a lot of things except for the fact that Rapid charges you every time you transfer your own money to cash app, or use a vending machine. I'm about to change to literally any other paycard. Also, they do not give you the option to set your payment for an earlier deposit.

for over a month now, I have not been able to log in to my account due to " limited technical issues" this is unacceptable. It is inconvenient and unsecure to have to log into the actual website every time I need money from my savings. this app was very good for a long time, I've used it for years. I'm uncertain what the actual issue is but it has become an actual problem. do better rapid!

Some how my name got put in inaccurate (probably my fault) and I've called support a few times and been assisted but the email they have given me doesn't seem to reply nor process the request to solve the issue. Would love to have my name corrected, other than that the card works only not being able to view the account is a little time consuming needing to call a number every time.

there's a glitch or something with the app because it doesn't work. every time I try to use it, it stays loading with the rapid logo on and off, it doesn't move from there, no matter how many times I close the app and try to open it again. I have to uninstall and install for it to work once, if I try it again later, it goes back to the moving logo only

I have been trying all morning to transfer my cash to an external card immediately and have been unsuccessful in doing so. I keep getting a message that rapid pay is doing an "upgrade to this feature for an improved experience and is currently unavailable" no one that I spoke to (and I should mention that most likely they are not even in the USA)is able to tell me how long this "upgrade" will take. I want my money & I want to do what I want with it and I WANT MY MONEY NOW!! Totally pissed off.

I'm beyond fed up with this app and website. I can't transfer my money to my bank account using the instant option for the past four days because it says it is updating. I am scared to use the funds in days option because with how horrible and unreliable it is, a couple days could turn into a month or never. How is it even legal for this to be going on? I also have to uninstall and reinstall the app regularly because it won't open, and my card has been declined before. Pathetic!

Works well for me to receive my paycheck via direct deposit. The problem is that when I try to open the app 99% of the time it opens, but the RAPID icon just keeps repeating like its continuously refreshing and never goes to the actual login screen. I have been having to use the web page to log into my account to see my balance, deposits, and withdrawals. Is anyone else having this issue?

I would give zero stars if I could! Absolutely horrible activation features for an older person!! If you're over 30, RUN AWAY!!! The app gives 5 minutes to activate the card, or time expires, and you have to start all over again! It gives one of the stupid calendars that you have to swipe to get to the birthdate, by the time you get to it, the time has expired. I've tried it 3 times already to get to 1966 before the time runs out 😡

I wouldn't recommend it, and those positive messages are probably ppl who work for the company. The app doesn't want to open a lot of the time, it just stays stuck on stupid and won't let you log in to check your balance. Then if you use the card to much, like when bills are due, they lock your card with no warning or asking if it's you doing it. find another bank card trust me, I know I am.

The app has been delaying several times. Constantly having to "force stop" and refresh the app because I can not sign in or access my account. Also, no longer able to transfer funds to an external account immediately because they are "updating" this feature. It's already been a week and still not accessible. Not sure how much longer they need to update it. I had to use the ACH option, which takes 3-5 days to transfer funds. Not too happy with this app.

Terrible experience with this app and company. For more than a year it was fine, no issues. And then in February I tried to do an instant transfer and the app glitched or something (it took a loooong time to load) and the money left my rapid pay account but never arrived in the other account. Since then.. for four months I've been being taken in circles by the incompetent support team. They denied the dispute because "they don't guarantee purchases for goods and services" which is a crock

Update did not fix the restart bug. it's still there and when it happens you cannot access the app. I've tried uninstall and reinstall, deleting the cache, restarting my phone AND tested it on two different devices aside from my main phone. it still happens. Ran it on mobile data and top tier wifi connection- still happens. Please fix this bug ~ I'll gladly change my star rating after.

When first registered, I had a horrible time. Tried calling CS, was not impressed at first. It took a few days to get straightened out. Now it is working, so far it has been good. No waiting for $ transfers as some other advanced pay apps take at least a business day to complete. This app completes transfers in 3 minutes. i haven't had any other problems where CS would be needed. Hopefully it will go better than the last time I needed CS.
