Installed the app, loaded money. When I called it asks for my Rebtel pin, which I can't find, couldn't make the call on time. Worse part is that I emailed their help desk and they keep telling me they updated the status of my inquiry without giving me the answer. It would have been a great app, if only it worked.

This was horrible told me I can pay $1.00 for 10 minutes to make a call to liberia and after a few seconds locked me out. Apparently there's problems connecting with the server wouldn't let me sign in disregarding the fact I have data which is not being used because I also have a good wifi signal. Still I proceed to redownload it and tried using another number and it allows me to try to make another account. At this point I just feel like this app is just stealing money from people.

It's a great app... However, it doesn't give call information in detail. For instance, it never state whether a dialed number is switched off or not reachable or on another call...it kept ringing until hang-up. This cause a lot of arguments between callers. Would be so nice to fix this. Still my best among all though

The app is easy to use, great option is it allows you to deactivate your plans. But the global unlimited plan only works with WiFi or mobile data and its very unreliable. Even when on a good WiFi or 4g signal calls fail to go through, even if they did they drop half way through or have poor audio quality issues. This is on the latest version of the app.

Every time I'm done with a call my audio doesn't work. I don't know why. I know it's from the app Because when I receive calls on my line I have no problem. But when I call with rebtel my audio completely shuts down and then I'd have to go into device maintenance to shut it down. Its really annoying. So many problems with this app. I wonder what went wrong.. I've used this app for about 5 years but now... I can't even make a call without so many issues.

Changed 5 to 0 star!! I have been using this app for over 2 years and started go hear the receivers voice but instead it repeats the whole conversation ! And I think he is still there when he is not !.I get so confused and I feel so anxious and scared ! I'm so mad I paid so much money ! I'm so deeply disappointed! Using this app left me feeling negative! I dont know what to do! I paid 25dollars and over 100 10 dollars payments in my call history ! In the end You guys scammed me!

Awesome app! I call my family in Italy and the calls are super clear, the connection is great and the monthly price is unbeatable! I am a Rebtel customer for life!!!! I highly recommend it for international calls. 11/10/2019 Thank you for fixing the dropped calls problem I recently had! I am super happy with the work you have done and with the clarity of the calls. Keep up the great job! This IS still the best international calling app out there.

OH MY GOD FINALLY. I'm a US citizen in Cambodia and needed a way to call the US easily, this is it!!! The other apps are all either paid or make you deal with credits, with this I have unlimited calling to the US! update: I'll still keep at 5 stars for free us calling, but I just tried calling Tokyo Disney to make reservations from the us and the person on the phone could barely hear me, I kept cutting out and had to repeat everything 3 times, was ready to hang myself so frustrating.

Calls do connect more often than not and I get a clear enough experience on calls, however, there is no real tracking of minutes. I have had a few calls that do not connect for some reason or the other, that last no more than 9 seconds at any given time, yet still, that is a whole minute lost. Three 9 second calls that did not connect, amount to 3 minutes as if the calls had indeed connected. Makes no sense!! I do like their $1 trial for 20 minutes, that is VERY COMMENDABLE.

Tested and installed on my mother's phone for a trip outside of the US. She has free Wi-Fi onboard ship, and with all calls to the US free over Wi-Fi, this sounded like a great option. It is! As a cruise planner who is often onboard and away from home, she always had to temporarily add an international option to her plan. Rates were outrageous and she was always rushed. Now she doesn't have to worry about it. This app does exactly what it says, and if you are placing Wi-Fi calls to the US... There is no better choice.

Don't bother. Will charge you even though you can't hear the other person talking and the minutes just keep going if you use the pay by the minute. Kinda confusing too if you don't know what the 3 options are for connecting calls (Landline will route you through your cellphone provider and you will be charged for it by your cellphone provider as well as Rebtel, so you pay twice. Just use FB Messenger, Skype, Viber, Line or FaceTime. Make sure both sides have the same apps in order to make calls.

Recently, the been slipping. Not only am I cheated out of credit, the calls disconnect after eating time and money and the lines are often not clear. I even sent feedback on this and the delay in response is terrible. There is no reason for them to take more than 4 days for customer service issues. I will be deleting the app once my recent reload has been exhausted.

The UX Design team really need to improve this. When I am in a call I don't see the number I'm calling and each time I need to call a different number of the same person i need to go back and search the name over. It could be done from the recent calls page (the 3 dots can include all of that contact's number instead of a useless "remove"!!) It's too much back & forth!! Another important one is being able to see how many minutes are left based on my credit during a call.

This app is seriously pissing me off. I've had this app for two years and this issue has been annoying me ever since. Why is it that everytime I try to call internationally, I always get a "line is busy" message through land line calling and "can't initiate call" message through wifi calling. I've changed my access points and it's still not working. To top this off, everytime I select a contact to call, I have to retype the number. Paying to use an app you'd expect it to atleast work properly.

I had a little trouble, at first, getting the sense of what to do placing a call. Since then, and over the past 6+ months, |I have had a flawless experience. Very clear calls, almost never dropped. Much better than my usual mobile call experience. I am very impressed, and the bonus was that these months were without any cost. I am very willing to take on a monthly fee for use! Amazing service. I sort of stumbled onto this app. I was in Egypt and having a very hard time getting a line out. In researching online this app kept coming up as one of the best. The quality is always has become spotty. The rates are good. I do have 2 ongoing issues. First, when I hang up, it automatically redials the number I just called. Work clients it's very embarrassing. Also the app often crashes. That has become more frequent. Sometimes it refuses to disconnect, too.

I have been a rebtel customer for long. I even have auto-charge. But about 3 weeks ago, the app started behaving funny. It does not complete calls. It just says session progress bit no rington and does not dial. Really frustrating especially when they have your money. In cases where I have been lucky to call, the number disconnects after a few minutes or the connection is poor. In some instances ( since last year) I had cross-calls where I call one number, I end up hearing from another person.

This App used to be the best but now it is so hard to use. It does not have menu any more. To find the contacts list is an uphill battle. The local numbers that it generated to make international calls cheap, no longer work. I don't know if Rebtel sees its competitors such as Boss Revolution etc. They make life easier for their customers with cheaper rates and easy-to-use dashboards.

This service is spotty at best. after a lengthy exchange with Rebtel, the service still didn't work, and the customer service agent said explicitly that they do not guarantee phone calls go through. switched to Yolla. worked instantly. edit to add after last company response: the calls did not work to a land line either. I tried a cell phone, a land line, neither worked. fix your services, please.

I'm from the USA but moved to the UK, I still have to call certain landlines at least once a month. I signed up and see that some countries require small charges but at least for my case calling the USA, it is labeled free! I just made a few calls, no problems, great sound quality and no charges at all! hopefully that doesn't change in the future.
