main functionality I'm interested in seeing is the runtime and it does not show. sometimes it shows 2 days later but not a lot of good use when I want to see how long my systems been running for the day when I'm away. it does allow me to remotely set the temperature which is nice so I can begin cooling down on my drive home. also the amount of pop ups and requests for notifications to be added is crazy. indint need notifications just how long my system is on for and to remotely set temperature.

The app keeps saying "no internet connection" when I obviously do have a connection. Weather always says "unavailable" until I click on it. The T-9 thermostat is awesome. The added sensors and circulate function solved my hot/cold room problems. A/C guy told me the circulate function would not work on a single stage unit, but it does. It keeps all the rooms at an even temperature.

This app needs a lot of work. I couldn't add thermostats to it, I had to do it on the iOS version, and then they appeared in this app after logging in. The app also is annoying because it thinks it needs notification permission, but no way, no thank you. I have to say no every time I start the app. It's also bad at grouping thermostats, I have to turn groups on or off manually. Pretty lame. You can see from their reply they don't take the app issues seriously, implying I'm the problem. Nope.

Most annoying app ever. Zero way for you to turn off Humidity alerts so every hour you get a pop up on your phone and also an email which you cannot control. Good example, the water sensor is under the sink. It will likely stay humid all summer! I now have 48 alerts per day (24 emails, 24 pop ups) from Resideo that I have no control to turn off within the app. I work in IT and called their Tech Support who said there was nothing they can do and "thanks for the feedback" HORRIBLE!

The app was working fine for 5 months, and a few days ago, it started to show that both thermostats in my house are offline. However, both thermostats themselves showed that they were connected to WiFi. I've re-installed the app. I've rebooted my phone several times. I've re-registered WiFi on both thermostats. I've unplugged both thermostats for at list a minute. I've rebooted home router. Nothing worked

The app has been working fairly well. My wife's apple version was having Geofence issues. I think we found the solution with hers needing to open the app every week or so to keep it connecting. Now over the last couple of weeks my android version has stopped geofenceing all together. It does not pick up that I am home unless I physically open the app every time. This defeats the purpose. I am happy to up my rating if this gets fixed in a timely manor.

Thermostat are working and connected, but constantly show as offline. 2 years later same issue hasn't been resolved. RUN. Find something that works. My nest has never had this problem. Edit - support is useless. They tell you to follow the same steps and then the unit goes offline again. Support blames the internet and "server maintenance"

Insists on notifying me every time humidity goes above 70% or drops below that. Even if that's the humidity outside. I don't care. Shut up. You can't make it stop. I turned off humidity notifications, still notifies. Set it to notify only at 95%, still notifies at 70. Want to turn off that notification type? Too bad, they didn't type notifications. You get all or nothing. Update: It appears about 24h after setting up humidity notifications it stopped. Haven't had one for a few days.

works ok but nags me about turning on notifications every time I open the app, then tells me they are required when I decline. Updated 9/7/25, still nags me about notifications being required when the app works fine without them. so every time I open the app I have to decline turning on notifications and then I get a pop-up telling me they are required preventing me from adjusting thermostat until pop-up goes away. This is unnecessary and antagonistic to your users. I'm switching to Nest.

(UPDATE: I discovered it won't consistently function unless the app has permission to access your exact location - all the time.) This is an app more designed as a sales gimmick than as something useful. Constantly claims to have no internet connection. Unless I restart it, at which point it is fine. Nothing else in the house has this issue. Very annoying!
