So here's my take on Retro Metronome. I've tested a bunch of metronome apps and this one is a solid, no-nonsense option. The retro aesthetic is cool and the core functionality works really well - no latency issues like I've had with some other apps. The simplicity is a plus, but it also means there's not a ton of advanced features. But honestly, for most people just needing a basic metronome, that's probably fine. If you're looking for something more powerful with a ton of customization, this may not be the app for you. But overall, I'd recommend Retro Metronome as a simple, reliable, and ad-free option.

Description

I’ve been using Retro Metronome for a couple months now. It’s basically a retro-themed metronome app that lets you play a consistent beat. Pretty solid if you’re into music production or just need something to practice your instrument with.

There’s a bunch of cool features – you can start and stop the metronome by swiping the rod or hitting the button. And you can easily change the BPM by moving the weight on the rod or using the buttons. You can also choose to accent the beat if you want. It’s got a nice clean interface that’s easy to use.

Look, if you need a simple, no-frills metronome app, Retro Metronome is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – there’s no advanced features or customization – but it gets the job done reliably without any ads or subscriptions. Overall, a pretty good option in my opinion.
