Reviews for Rocksmith+ Fast Music Learning

Sold as having 8,000+ songs, searched all for guitar, 193 available? mostly not well known, not varied artist. Tried to set up on PC too to use cable input, 'not available in your territory'!? If not doing something correct, difficult to see why. Very disappointing compared with excellent old playstation versions at a quarter of the (annual!!) price. Ripped off by Google despite clearly within policy allowing refund within 48 hours, saying is outside the policy which must be frustrating. Yes!

Price is too high, $20 a month is crazy. UI is laggy on my pixel 6 and besides you need a audio interface to play with an electric guitar. With a acoustic guitar works okay but sometimes misses notes even if I am playing it correctly. Also when trying to use the PC version it says is not available in my territory and still charging the same amount just for the mobile version.

Superior choice for leaning the axe! But disappointed to return to such a poor selection of songs. No songs but 6 interest me in the 6000 strong library! I'm a music fan, play multiple instruments, music all day, 6 out of 6000!? I spent two days trying to find songs in the library!?😥😭 love you Ubisoft(my no 1) but you think its my preference the issue? Everyone saying same. All our tastes? You lost the best bit of RS imo!!! Technique is great, rocking out is better, RS used to do that for you.

Rocksmith 2014 is my favorite game of all time. Still play Guitarcade games almost daily! Wish they'd kept supporting THAT and its excellent DLC instead of leaping on the bleed-you-forever "subscription" bandwagon. This doesn't even have the Guitarcade??? I can "learn songs" elsewhere but I can't shoot zombies. So, hmm, this costs way more for NO games and worse music? No.

Just doesn't work. Trying to use my microphone (I don't care about note tracking, just want to see the notes and hear the song, don't care if its picking up the notes it thinks I'm playing, Rocksmith 2014 could do this 🥲) and I've had no luck. Tried for 1 hour. Can't get past calibration (so can't play anything). Unusable. App serves no purpose in its current state. Update: if the issue is permission based, why wouldn't your app prompt me again to allow permission. Checked, mic is enabled.

Although the visuals of the game look really nice, the tablature is far less as intuitive as Yousician's. Hopefully, this alternate tabs layout will be added soon as an option. The real problem with the app though is how much sound it is not able to pick up. Whereas, you can get away with a quieter volume using Yousician, with RS you need to turn your volume way up and strike the strings harder just so it can be recognized in the game. Overall, it is not worth the steep asking price.

Scam...it's presented as free...it's not! !! It's $99 a year after a 7 day trial. Lol the game on PS3 wasn't even $60 and it was forever...not a monthly subscription. Fender play and Yousician are cheaper. Edit for response from ubisoft....stop lying!! No where does it state it's a 99$ a year subscription you have to sign up for to get a 7 day free trial until after you download the game...it's not listed in the premium apps it's listed in the free section...like I said scam....

I got this game in August and haven't been able to play any premium content, After buying 4 months. I went to the customer service and to this day they respond with and I quote, "We are sorry to hear you are unable to access your songs in Rocksmith+ Please note that this issue has been reported and is under investigation, there is no estimate for the resolution of the problem while the investigation is ongoing" This has been going on for months. It's crazy.

I am apprehensive to purchase a subscription bc the previous games had a difficult time recognizing my guitar notes (cheap guitar). Importantly, I want to know if this app can discern musical instruments outside of electric, acoustic, and bass guitars? If the app is recognizing instrumental notes, could I play a violin and the app recognize these notes appropriately? If so, I think that I'd be MUCH more interested in purchasing a subscription! Please let me know! Thank you! :)

I wasn't happy about the difficult cross-platform options between Android and PC, which was promised by Ubisoft. It makes me feel angry knowing that subscription services can be prone to mistakes like this at the expense of our wallets, which makes my blood boil. I got my subscription refunded as that technical issue was the main cause. I hope Ubisoft can do better next time with technical issues like this.

This game is nearly too small for me to see on my device. Note colors also need to be better, the Red can look like Orange and vice versa. Also what did you do to the Riff Repeater!? I can no longer scroll through a song, I have to instead highlight the section I want to play and restart from that section onward. It's like having to restart a video rather than just be able to navigate/scroll through it. Not worth $99yr/$15mo. It's more like a $5 a month experience

The functionality of the game works pretty well. I tidied around with it a bit and it was pretty good at picking up the notes. Good job, devs. I gotta say though, the menu UI is pretty rough on my phone. It's certainly usable and intuitive enough to get around but typing stuff in is a chore when my keyboard takes up over half the screen horizontally. Like, man, if I could get the menus vertically that would be great! Otherwise I think this game works better on a tablet or Chromebook.

This app is a complete waste of time. The song selection is terrible, the interface is so small as to be basically invisible. The color palette didn't help this either with not being able to tell where the next note is going to be. I've played Rocksmith on console and it's fast better. For a subscription service this isn't worth your time. Look up tabs online for free, or search how to plays on YouTube. Don't waste your time with this app.

Had to agree to a year's subscription to get the free trial. Then, I had to download their separate tuner app to use my device as a mic. The Tuner app requires account verification to work as a mic, but whenever I would try to get the two programs to talk to each other, the tuner app would repeatedly crash. I have been using RockSmith since I got it on my Xbox 360, but this is just not cool.

Won't progress past the noise calibration. Unable to play anything. Update-I already canceled my subscription. You were charging full price for a platform that doesn't work properly, and now the price is going up an extra $5 a month?!?! That's ridiculous. I wanted to give Rocksmith + a chance, but I couldn't even use it. I'll just stick with Rocksmith 2014.

It's a disappointment. The song library is filled with fluff and it's hard to navigate through them all. They are wasting notetrackers time by just adding as many songs to the game rather than quality ones. Instead of 50 songs no one cares about a week, add 5 people want to play. I bought the annual subscription at launch, but I've recently cancelled it. I'll keep checking back to see what they add, but after all this time I don't have high hopes. I recommend everyone else stay away for now too.

Played this on PC and Mobile. Had more problems with Plus than I had with the original version. Ubisoft states there is some kind of "value" in this new subscription based version?? Where?? Ohhhh, maybe for those that listen to and would like to play all genres. I don't know a single person who does that. Your reasons for getting away from the DLC model make absolutely no sense. Yet, it makes perfect sense from a profit standpoint. Not that you care, but you are literally losing the fan base!!

The app is in need of some serious work. After playing a song, I had to force close the app several times. As for the service, it also has a ways to go before I'd recommend it. The library is rather weak considering it's subscription based now. Lots of deep cuts, but nowhere near the quality of 2012 and 2014 libraries. Why not incorporate those previous songs or at least give me access to the dlc I've purchased previously?

Played a few minutes with an electric guitar and amp, turned the tone all the way up as it recommended and the note detection worked fine. Had to keep the phone on my lap to see it well, the notes and numbers are really tiny. There should be a setting to zoom in more on where you're actually playing on the fret board instead of showing the whole neck of the guitar. Also, the subscription cost is really high. I might consider it if it was $5 a month. Overall, works better than expected.

WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. I paid half the yearly price for a physical copy 3 times back in the day, and put hundreds into dlc, but at least it was mine. The catalogue is full of inaccurate community songs. (somebody please stop ARCHI). Favourited songs are almost impossible to find. gotta sift through dirt. I'm not interested in the learning stuff, I just wanna play it like guitar hero. I've put hundreds of hours into the console ones and pushed everybody i could buy it. EDIT: FIX YOUR JFAC BASS.
