Poor design and kept crashing out on different pages. At one point you have to define the NO GO zones. But you can NOT enlarge the map. So on a tiny phone you are dropping boxes and have to stretch them to the size of the room Trying being 65 years old with glasses and moving those tiny boxes. Just bad. Then it says the box is too close to the robot home. Again can't see with all the icons. I'm surprised with Amazon buying iRobot that the software is So so so soooooooo Bad

I just installed the Rooma Home app to use with the new 405+ robot. App is slow to come up, and it's frozen several times. I was able to get the Roomba set up, map created, and a few automations defined. I've run 3 cleaning routines initiated manually and via an automation routine. Only the mapping run shows up in history, and all I see during a run is just basic info provided on the status of the cleaning routine. Calling support to find out why the run history is not displaying.

I always wanted a Roomba I thought they were neat. Decided to buy the basic just vac 105 model. Unboxing wasn't terrible nor was creating an account. Now setting up the bot was. It kept disconnecting from the Internet. So I rebooted it and even factory reset it. It proceeded to have the same issue so bad it bricked itself out from ever being able to be set up. Brand new out of the box!!! So disappointed I returned the whole product to best buy. Do better Roomba.

this app worked pretty well at first. now my brava smart mop stopped responding to the base and I couldn't get it to "find Wi-Fi" using the "hold two buttons" method. even after I perform a " factory reset" by holding all the buttons it turns off then goes back to the previous mode which I can't get to connect... please help!

it's glitching all the time. takes forever to fully charge (after 24 hours is showing 34%). doesn't have presence sensing!!! customer service claims it's increasing when on the charger, but I see the same 34%!!! have to wait over 15 minutes to talk with somebody and it's disconnecting me if I don't respond immediately even if I just switch to the app to take the screenshot because a tech asked me to do this!!! I'm ready to return it.

Not remotely close to ready for production. Updates take way longer than advertised, and both times hung the app. There's no way to remove a room (the space above my stairs is not a room). But most importantly the clean progress map just spins and spins and never loads, let alone displays it in real time.

I had to start using this app, instead of the legacy app, when I got a Roomba Plus 405. It does the job, sort of, but is not ready for prime time! Cannot save named routines, editing existing keep-out zones is very difficult, editing a divider requires too many steps. Basic usability stuff that worked in the legacy app was abandoned - why? Please fix!

the most frustrating app I've ever used. save yourself the headaches of ripping the cable from the outlet when the base station suddenly starts a pad wash cycle you didn't ask for, for the third time, on clean/dry pads. dont bother wasting your time getting this thing to reconnect because it doesn't do it automatically, just get a shark; I haven't tried one but it has to be better than this

the robot works fine but the app is terrible. it does not update as the robot works, so it will get stuck and think it's in the middle of a cleaning routine even though it's done and back at it's dock. then you can't start a new routine because the app always thinks it's working. I've had to repeatedly uninstall and reboot the robot just to use it because the app functions so poorly

Truly a surprisingly bad app for such a high end device. the robot is great but the app frequently crashes, fails to load or connect. It returns "Something went wrong" every time I try to add or edit furniture in the maps. Sticks on a load screen whenever I try to stop a routine or change anything. Truly embarrassing programming effort from a robotics company.

The robot works great! But I've had a lot of difficulty getting the robot to actually communicate with the app. Often the robot won't send it's telemetry, so the app thinks it's cleaning when it's already home, and I can't get it to update without rebooting both the robot and my phone. Also, the app seems to be missing things I would think would be obvious features, such as running a scheduled cleaning job on demand, or even the ability to change how a scheduled job is done without recreating.

The Roomba itself works quite well, but the app does not. It is very laggy and has frequent crashes; also, I had a problem with editing the map that turned out to indicate that I needed to reboot the Roomba, which was not evident from the generic error messages I was given. However, customer service has been very helpful in fixing issues as they come up.

You took an app that worked and replaced it with a slightly prettier version with missing features and broken functionality. You can't edit an automation. I have to delete and recreate. I can't create an automation when the Roomba is docked and also has low battery. I can't move the map during map editing only zoom and rotate. Not impressed. editing down to 1 star. automations will not mop. so insanely irritated with this app.

The app interface does not fit in the screen space. Using a Galaxy 24 Ultra. There are buttons to the right and you can't scroll over, on the map edit screen you can't scroll down far enough to edit. The menu options at the bottom overlap and you can't read what they are. The vacuum works great, charges when needed, empties when needed. The maps are very exact to our layout. Only using the vacuum feature, not the mop. 5 stars for the vacuum but 1 for the app.

The app seems to get stuck, I have to force close it and then go back in for the history to show, for the software update to clear or sometimes to get it to where the start cleaning button is not greyed out. Once it loads it is great. The spot clean feature is useless, the directions on how to use it pop up over the map, and then it doesn't allow you to minimize them to move the spot on the map. Alerts come up and you have to force close in order to get them to clear

I just laid to rest my 13 y/o model 655 - that sweeper that bounced around randomly? It worked better than the model 205. Maybe if this ap would allow me to edit Room1 into the 5 separate rooms that are there, it could earn a 3 star. It is slow and difficult to navigate. If there are even edit options at all,the owners manual doesn't tell you how to access it.

This has to be one of the worst apps I have ever used. Constantly tells me my robot needs help, yet never says what exactly, or 99 out of 100 times it doesn't need help. won't let me add routines because of that. Editing the map is a pain, doesn't let you move around when editing, just zoom in and out. I would give it 0 stars if I could. Fire the people that made it.

Update 9/24: After emailing the email address in the response, doing some troubleshooting, then being told to just file it as a bug report, the app is much more responsive now! Ridiculously slow and can't see progress of cleans. When the app tells me that I can look at the progress of cleaning, I expect it to show me what the progress is, not sit there with an indefinite loading symbol.

Too hard to just clean. The app makes you have to use the automation or routine function. The routines often fail to load, so you can't tell your robot to clean, its one and only job. Why do they insist on making it hard to do the one function I bought this for? Bring back the classic Start Cleaning function. Schedules are great but sometimes I want it to clean off schedule. imagine that!!

The map won't let you zoom in while editing, so if you have a large house it's like a pin, allow us to edit a map while zoomed in. the algorithm should allow it to map the furniture and ask if anything has moved. I have a cord across the floor and I can't make it a no go zone because it would be 2 feet wide, app won't let me rotate the squares. did you really just remove the cleaning history on the latest update? now we can't even see where it got stuck or didn't complete a job..
