Reviews for Safeco Mobile

Tried to login and had to do an app update. Now policy pages will not load to view/print. Currently, the app is useless.

The app doesn't allow you to upload photos taken with your phone. Also, Safeco for homeowners is awful. We recently had a claim with them and they paid about 65 cents on the dollar to fix our home (even though we had a full replacement cost policy).

I'm disappointed. I went to access the app to provide a change of address and remove drivers from my policy and thought I'd find that option in settings. Not so. I finally found what I needed under policy changes however the searching around took a lot more of my time than I've spent providing the address change on other apps.

This app is horrible. Hard to do anything when pages load off screen with no options to pan left or right or zoom out.

I can't open app, if you try to create an account and you try more than once it locks you out. What is wrong with paper? Since they take all our money, they can afford paper?

A fabulous company that has given me peace knowing my assets are covered. The app allows access to documents and perfectly explained details of coverages. they provide transparency in contact numbers and support. would recommend for any lifestyle.

this appn is constantly crashing, rarely lets you sign in, and even when it does, you cant even get to anything without it locking up. I couldn't begin to go through all the issues. it's literally the least optimized hot garbage I've ever had the displeasure of using.

This app is really BS. It promotes red light running versus breaking hard for a red light that changes unexpectedly in front of you. They will ding you for any accident avoidence maneuver you make because they don't want do give you any discount. This app is scam as well as an invaision of privacy. They will dangle a discount to make you switch but it's not worth it. Look away from the light.

Slide 3 of the RightTrack tutorial in the app states, "Your location data is secure and will only be used by Safeco", but if you read the fine print it says "This app may share these types of data with 3rd parties: LOCATION, personal info, and 6 others." RightTrack is just a way to monitor you (24/7) & sell your data. Been with safeco for more than 10 years and never had a complaint, but the entire idea behind Righttrack is complete BS & violates your privacy, but that's why it's voluntary...

The Right Track feature incorrectly registers hard braking events. There is no way to contest or correct these errors. I believe this is done intentionally to lower the driving score so Safeco doesnt have to give the discount.

DONT FALL FOR IT. The right track program is a scam. I watched my score for the whole 90 days, it sat in the mid 90s the whole time. The day after the program was over, it suddenly switched to 81 - a "fair" score with a significantly lower discount. they have no intention of actually giving you anywhere close to 30% off. Do not waste your time with this company.

I don't do negative reviews, but I'll make an exception for this one. I'm a pretty chill driver anyways (I leave room in front of me to avoid riding the person's rear, don't gas it too hard, listen to classical music, etc.) and I drive extra chill since I put this app on my phone just for the challenge of seeing if I could get it to 100. Every time I get to 91, this app adds a false event that takes me back down to 90. Yesterday it put 2 fast accelerations as I pulled into my driveway. RIGGED!

The RightTrack driving evaluation piece of the app is ridiculous. Regardless of how you drive it identifies ALL times that you pull away from a stop sign as Rapid Acceleration and dings your driving score. There are a lot of speed bumps in the areas I drive and each time you go over one it records them as Hard Braking events. There is no way to get an acceptable evaluation as a result. If offered the option for the Right Track discount don't bother as you won't get anything.

Logs you out frequently, even mid-use, and all of the ledger based functions like payment history, etc are all completely inaccurate and erroneous. Just refer to your bank/cc statement history since the app and website don't help. Also, you will absolutely feel like you're being gaslit as to where you need to go to upload documents for stages in a claim - it's bad ux design, not you. Also there is no way to message your agents in-app.

Too many breaking checks. Hard breaking is part of driving. No one should be held hostage on their insurance premium going up due to hard breaking. There are 4 speed bumps in the area where I drive daily, you have to break for the speed bumps, there is no other way or else you mess up your vehicle. I think the app is just a way of going up on insurance. I contacted other insurances and they do not have breaking on their apps, but they do have cellphone usage to check if you are using the phone

The driving tracking portion is rigged and tracks more than they say it does. We had a perfect driving record with zero dings, yet not a perfect score. Then somehow without additional trips, and no dings our score went down. The app is a bit confusing and customer service hung up on my in the middle of our conversation. Try another company.

It's fine. It gets the job done. It can be unreliable at times. My biggest gripe is that Safeco, like many companies, doesn't value Android customers like it does iPhone customers. It's a rule that my dollar is worth less to them. Why can iPhone users save their insurance cards to Apple wallet but not android customers? That needs to be fixed. But I'm sure it's not worth it to y'all to fix it.

App is ok. Nice to have digital insurance cards so easily available. RightTrack is an absolute scam and these people should be barred from using it. It is impossible to obtain a score high enough for their *up to 30%* claim. False advertising at its finest. Sign up, drive the minimum distance with zero events, then be a passenger the rest of the time. You'll get your discount and maybe if enough people do it, they'll make a better program and stop stealing from and punishing it's customers.

This app will track EVERYTHING. If you put your phone in your pocket, it will count as a "drive". One "drive" at night gives puts you in the yellow. And they pretend they don't know of the app being that sensitive, although I have read the complaints about its inaccuracy. And instead of them trying to fix it, they will just try to convince you to keep it for the whole 90 days. I have already received a notification that there will be a bill increase; I'm only at 60 days. No explanation.

App is great, but the customer service is not. Policy increased almost $500 randomly. I received a notice of "a change" 3 months after it started. I was told I never submitted a form. But it was not a part of my initial paperwork, nor was it ever sent to me. I'm looking at my dashboard, email, spam folder, junk folder, and nothing outside of my welcome packet, payment reminders, receipts & the change email. They removed a discount that they refuse to take back to inception. Lost a customer.
