Reviews for Salesforce

← Back to Salesforce

this is a big improvement from the last time I used the SF mobile app many years ago. When I'm on the road and can't remember the address or the other customer's name or the value of the opportunity...now its at my fingertips!

Honestly, the login and authentication is so cumbersome. They don't make it easy, not user friendly. Really missing the mark, I'm somewhat tech savvy, I feel bad for those who aren't.

It is a miracle if any page you click on loads. I have 1 gig up/down and can navigate the desktop site (from that same network) very quickly - and for the very few parts of Salesforce that I can pull up on my mobile browser (without it forcefully pulling up this app which then fails to load that page) - those pages load instantly via Chrome, Brave, etc.

Edit 8/30/2025 - to those user who suffer useless notification and consistent logout issue, turns out clearing cache and reloading won't work. You have to uninstall and reinstall the app to make it work again. Unfortunately, this kind of information is not shared by Salesforce.

I can never get this app to work. I am constantly having to uninstall/reinstall so it will work for a week and then inevitably not. While I can select the taskbar items across the bottom, NOTHING else is workable, no matter if I run mobile only, sales only or service console. I cannot edit account details, add new opportunities or log a call-the 3 most important functions for out company. I waste more time trying to get this to work properly than I do using it. I am 100% LESS efficient now.

as far as a dump truck dispatch goes it is terrible took the company a long time to set it up.and still has a lot of useless information on it and has a lot of steps to get to what you need. further more if it's for cdl drivers why is there Spanish on here to hold a cdl int the states you have to read, write, and understand English. I wouldn't recomend wasting your money texting drivers is much simpler and cheaper and more efficient.

I'm a sales director, and when I'm on the road I rely on this app to look up accounts and opportunities, and to approve discount requests. This is not an intuitive app to use, and it doesn't seem to have been updated since I've been using it (around 2019). I would expect a more user-friendly interface from a company like Salesforce.

Completely non-functional. I get stuck on infinite loading screens the moment I try to access any assigned groups. Trying to submit a support ticket forces me to go through an AI chatbot. Terrible app made by a terrible company. If my job didn't force me to use it I would literally set my phone, and then myself, on fire for ever having used this garbage.

crashes 10-20x per session. On my Android and the iPad. The mobile suite is terrible. I have to constantly hard close the app it'll just freeze on me it won't let me move the page up or down honestly costing me money and anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes additional with each client. every time I try to open Aurora through Salesforce it brings me to a page that says it's better in the app. If you download the app it doesn't let you use Salesforce. How is this app used by sales orgs??? 🤔🤯😵‍💫

It's correct that you get a message saying you don't have internet access though you do. This prevents you from logging in. If by since miracle, it lets you in, there is no informacion, just a blank white screen with a menu bar. It never remembers my device, even if I log in 3 times in succession. Because it doesn't, every time I want to log in, it sends a verification code, which is annoying. It also doesn't remember my username, despite clicking "remember me". Don't download. Just don't.

Used this on my work phone. Absolute shame. Despite what your browser says, it's not better on the app. So many buttons and menus get erased when transitioned to the app. I cannot manage images like I could in my web browser. What's worse is that if you want to use the regular browser version on your phone (because it's the only one that works) you have to endure constant work flow crashing advertisements from Salesforce demanding that you download the app.

Constantly freezes and crashes mid-use. (Note 9). Happens on LTE or WiFi connection. Has done this for YEARS. I wrote a previous review in 2017 noting this. As soon as I run the SF app on my phone, the system UI crashes within 2 minutes. This app is virtually unusable for even the simplest of tasks. It's actually faster to open chrome and log in to the full site from your phone.

I'm a heavy user of Salesforce and this app, and it's useless. Replying to an email on it is like going back to mobile web browsing in 2005...on a $1.000, 2019 high end mobile device! The cursor jumps out of place, words get mashed together, and how to reply to an email other than the last one in the string beats me... It's almost like someone said "Quick, make a mobile app so we can say we have one", but no one actually confirmed it works. It's a shame were forced to work with this.

7/22/2020 update - all the same issues below still happening. I can't use anything in the app. Keeps me in a redirecting loop. ***************************** I'm not able to access anything. I can search for a client, but can't get into anything when I click on it. I can't even access my tasks, which I use frequently. I see a blank screen and nothing loads, or even indicates it is loading. This app has previously worked and now does not. It's been frustrating, to say the least.

* downgraded review AGAIN to ONE star only because I could not give it to zero or negative Stars , it seems to get worse as time goes by* The app is useful, the only thing you can't do with it, though, is count on it. The search feature is so bad I would almost give it no Stars, when looking up a business or contact or company the search feature takes forever and does not give you any indication that it's working... What's worse is if you don't have all bars of signal or if you're not on WiFi a lot of times it just won't work at all. And then there's other times when it brings up search results but when you select one it never populate anything. Now the part that really drives me crazy... I'm using a Galaxy Note 8, my phone has 6 freaking gigs of RAM and this stupid app absolutely locks my phone up if it's running in the background. It's so bad I am continuously begging my senior Executives to get rid of this platform, as well as many others in my company. This app has let me down so many times in the field I've lost count, do not trust it! Print out all your information before you leave the office!

this has to be one of the worst apps I have ever used. Its extremely glitchy. I regularly have to turn it off and on again because I can't get into the bit for signing onto work. If Ive had to go out of the app to find something and then go back in it and continue writing it jumps the cursor to the word beforehand and writes the first 2 letters about 6 times so I have to go fix that mess up. It sucks

Alright..... I've been using this app for almost a year. Why the Android version can't do all the same things as the iOS version does, I couldn't begin to understand. As many others have mentioned, this app takes up so much in the way of resources. It will consistently freeze. No... you can't send in the system log stating what is happening.... because you need to kill the program to get the phone to unfreeze. If the phone doesn't have a full set of bars, and attempt to upload a picture or file, it tells you that you don't have internet connection and then it gives you an error stating that you don't have permission and need to contact system admin. The app only functions in portrait mode. You cannot turn it to landscape. You cannot pan through charts that extend outside of the visible screen. The app needs work. Again, it should mimic the iOS version... but doesn't.

Out of the last 5 times I've tried to use the app, I've been successful once. It closes for no reason, I can't get signed in, I'm constantly having to "clear caches" to get the most basic information on accounts, navigation does not make sense - I've actually started putting paragraphs of customer information into my contact notes on my phone just to make sure I have what I need when I need it. Maybe I should just use that as my CRM!

This app is awful. The only thing consistent about it is a consistent lack of reliability. Pages take forever to refresh, if they ever do refresh at all. The majority of the time my dashboards don't load fully, and pages I navigate to don't load or generate anything at all (whether I'm at home with wifi, or out using data). I literally can NEVER count on this app to find information or accomplish tasks. The only reliable way to access Salesforce is through the browser on my laptop, big let down.

Android user here - while any other app on my phone loads without issue, SF is garbage. I have to switch to my tablet to use the web version if I hope to accomplish anything in any kind of time. The app refuses to load anything except the home page. I'm lucky if I get a "failed to load" message, b/c only then will I have the option to refresh, which might work a fraction of the time.
