Not very easy to use with pdf, sometimes it lasted longer than the 30 seconds expected and if you had to check it would sometimes be off, then resetting it meant starting again with no way of jumping to the exercise you were on
Reviews for Sezzy Timer
← Back to Sezzy TimerI'm on week 5 and finally made it through one workout without the times glitching. It would be a great app if it didn't keep skipping rounds and talking over itself.
I love how I don't have to think about when to start/stop. I wish there was a lock feature so my kiddos can't stop my workout and I have to restart the workout on the app
Really easy to use and convenient but crashes constantly and there's no way to start back in a specific exercise/round. Really frustrating. Had to restart it like four times in this past workout.
Love the idea but time COUNTS TOO QUICK AND GLITCHES Really wanted this to be good but the timer counts twice as fast on some setsso you only get half the workout and on specific sets the voice doesn't work so doesn't tell you to start or stop.
Workouts are great but timer turns itself off mid workout! Timer does make it easier overall but super frustrating when it happens! Make sure to keep track of your reps and sets so that you know how much you still have to do
shittiest workout timer... seriously fed up with how poorly designed this app is. you have to leave the app to see what workout you're doing next, & when you do it pauses the timer. next thing you know you're like, "why the hell is this minute lasting so long???" & if you accidentally hit the back-button, or your dog manages to somehow, you can't just fast forward to the exercise/set/superset you left off on, you have to start the timer over again & wait for it to catch up
A little annoying that the sound cuts off halfway through the workout especially with it being a paid for app. Would be great if this could be sorted otherwise I would give 5 stars.
I like the timer, works extremly good with the workout books, as intended. But I think it's a pitty that you a) can't adjust the volume and b) can't save a custom timer for later. Other than that it's a great timer!
I really love this timer. And the work out that goes with it. However on the SS around the 5th excersies you are not counted back in after the rest.. And sometimes you are not counted down.. I think there was a similar problem with the TP. Please fix!!!
I've been using the app for 8 weeks and the guiding voice over stops midway through the workouts, so if you're not paying close attention to your screen you get all messed up. but the app is easy to use and super practical if you follow Sarah's workout ebooks.
I love this timer!! I have had other timers, but this one beats them all!! It encourages me to keep working, guides me every step of the way, Sarah's routines are already there, so it's so easy!! And I use the timer for other routines as well, it just makes my life so easier and it's less than $2USD! If you're looking for a good timer for your workouts, give it a try! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Sarah 😘
Works great! I had the OG app a while back and this is a vast improvement. I especially love that theres a custom option to build your own circuit workout. My only recommendation is that I wished it showed the total time of the workout. For example the sweaty shredders are about half an hour so itd be nice to see how far you're in time wise. Or if you are creating your own workout you can see how long it would be just in case youre trying to schedule out your gym sesh into your day.
Sezzy you and your team fixed it!!!! I've always loved this timer but I used to have to jump between it and my music to keep it going. I've been testing it for the last 10 minutes and it hasn't stopped in the background!!! Great timer now made perfect and effortless, thank you!!!!!
Not worth the money! It's a very basic timer app with quite some issues. You can pause the timer but the voice will still going and won't be paused. There's no time between exercises to even just switch to the next one, e.g. from crunch to plank, the timer counts down 1 minute and straight goes into counting down the next without any time to switch hence the plank can't be 1 full minute. Really thought it would also tell you the exercise not just exercise 1/2/3 etc. Which is not helpful.
App is awesome. I've used it a few years now but it still continues to crash on me half way through my workouts.. so frustrating because I can't go back to where Iy crashed on the timer so I have to start over and keep closer track to where I am in the sequence. Wish this could be fixed! Aside from that I use it almost daily!
I like how easy it is to keep time, but the voice doesn't always work. It starts off fine and then stops mid exercise, so I'll be going hard waiting for my 3 second count down, and then look at it and its halfway through the rest... kinda frustrating and defeats the point if you have to constantly keep an eye on your phone
At round 5 I noticed some of the voice guides missing and by round 6 and 7 there are points where the voice doesn't tell you when the rest period began or ended, nor counting down. Considering I paid money for this it is disappointing that simple voice elements are missing which could have been fixed with a simple proof checking of the app...
The app is so handy, but if you aren't in the app sometimes the timer stops counting until you go back into it, so the display can't shut off or you might end out doing a exercise must longer than expected 😂. Also the numbers don't fit in the circle on Android, not important but a little annoying. With a couple fixes it would be amazing! Love the program so much!!
The app is well designed for Sarah's e-book programmes, but 5 years later and it's still glitchy and often non-functional. The voice that tells you when to start/stop exercises and rests cuts out at random, so you're constantly having to look at your phone just in case, which is a bit pointless. There's also no way to return to a specific point in the programme - God forbid you press the back button by accident, the timer starts from the beginning of the workout. For a paid app - pretty awful.
