If they have this much of a problem just trying to install the app, it doesn't bode well for the app itself. Uninstalled from my phone.
Horrible app. It's as if someone decided to slap together a dating app because it was an easy way to make money. Expensive too. And of course fake profiles. You're better off using any other app that actually works. You'll find the same people on here as you would elsewhere. Nothing special about this dating app. There is also no verification process so anyone can sign up and you'll be lucky if you find a real person.
So this app looks like it may be good but u can't use it unless u pay for 3months, 6months or 1yr altogether. So, we are talking about £161 for 6months. Ok why can't they atleast allow people pay monthly?? And the fact that there isn't even any reviews here makes it even more scary. But I do like the app tho, just that I think they need to calm down with the money aspect. I can't pay almost £162 for 3 months. What if I find someone in 1month 🤷🏻♀️? I lose the rest of the money? Come on people
If you use Silver Singles, don't pay through app!! Purchased membership at beginning of month and canceled 2 weeks later. Neither Google Pay nor Silver Singles would issue refund, with each pointing fingers at the other. If you choose to join, pay through the website rather than the app to avoid the finger-pointing.
Silver Singles is broken! You will loose your money! I purchased this app for my Samsung after watching GREAT reviews on YouTube from 2-4 yrs ago. App never worked. I had to log in everytime, and the navigation was clunky. Frustrated I started loging in on laptop. Still had problems. The app appears to be a scam. Customer service is routed through a bot in Germany. I received few matches, less than 50, and my big requirements were "no smoking" and "50 mile radius"--? Horrible experience.
Trying to work w this outfit is frustrating to it's very end. Tried, paing for service.. had access for an hour then it booted me off and said it was refunding my money.. I tried paying again, it won't take my card, I use a diff one, to no avail, they say it's my bank, it's not.. so I go to the app... Can't even get past the login... JUST DOESNT WORK. I don't get it.. just trying to pay, but no help from them, app doesn't work, gals must think I'm ignoring them

Upon signing up, I was led to believe I'd be able to see full profiles and photos of potential matches. I spent time carefully curating my own profile, only to discover a harsh reality: you can't even see a full-sized profile picture without forking over a ridiculous £27.95 pcm

As soon as I signed up for the paid membership, I was unable to log in anymore. System kept saying my session had ended and I needed to login but system wouldn't go beyond the Captcha. I emailed customer service and they said I was blocked for inconsistencies. I would need to send the front and back photos of my license or passport. What a great way for them to take your money & steal your identity. DON'T DO IT...RUN FROM THIS APP
Nothing but scammers on this app. Don't purchase membership. I've been a premium member for about 2 weeks now and I haven't chatted with anyone who is legit.
The first days of using Silver Singles have me hopeful that I will find that special someone. The programming for populating the various sections was a bit frustrating at first. The program didn't allow you to go back until you completed all the steps. Once done though you can go back and edit the fields. Also if the company rejects certain words or sentence structure, there should be some guidance on what needs to be revised. It shouldn't be left to guess.
You get the same list, no new listings. 94% of listing is geographically out of my area, and many listings are without photos. Also, there is no support contact or customer phone number. Scam site.
I would've like to have known that it was a fee to join. you really can't connect if you're not a full remember. you can only send smiles. make prices affordable for entry fee to see if we like the choices. thanks respectfully written.
I have had endless trouble trying to open the app and have to delete and reload the app to use it! there are bugs when I try to send a message. I cannot see what im typing or have typed prior to sending. Don't buy this app it's dreadful
Canceling Silver Singles – Disappointed I gave it a shot, but Silver Singles just isn’t worth the time or money. Most profiles were incomplete or clearly outdated, and the app itself feels clunky and behind the times. The suggested matches were way off — not even close to what I was looking for. Overall, a frustrating and disappointing experience. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!
Don't waste your money. The app is terri ble. It flips you back and forth between the web page and the app. Too many fake profiles. You cannot search, you have to wait for suggestions based on a questionnaire you fill out in the beginning. There are NO REFUNDS and it's pricey!!!
This is a terrible app. I sometimes will go a week or more without getting any new matches. My preferences aren't really very restrictive but nothing seems forthcoming. This has been a total waste of my money. When I do receive new matches they aren't even close to my preferences. Don't waste your time or money with this app. There are much better ones out there.
I was able to log in to the app until I made a payment. Since then, I have been unable to log in. I either receive error messages, indicates that I have not paid for a premium membership - which I have, or other issues. I have reached out to customer care and am hoping to hear back from them soon. If this is not resolved, I certainly expect a refund on good faith. In addition, I also receive error messages when I attempt to log in online. No luck there either.
