Too many songs not available. I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the versions seem fairly representative of the original. Show tunes seem to be almost completely lacking. Songs that I expected to be there that weren't: Folsom Prison Blues, Never Enough, I Dreamed a Dream, Rainbow Connection, I the Du Hast... Seriously, no Du Hast!? DO BETTER! The venue has reached out, but has received no reply.
Reviews for Singa: Sing Karaoke & Lyrics
← Back to Singa: Sing Karaoke & LyricsOverall it's an awesome app, very large library of songs. Some songs have been out of sync with the text but the last months that seems to have been sorted. Moreover there are reoccurring stability issue with down time and a continuous "slowness" in general when browsing in the app. Should perhaps look over the server capacity and stability for the app?
People need to learn how to use services to be able to review them properly... The service can be cancelled in the 2 months trial... I gave it a go today, decided its not for me and went to the website and cancelled my subscription there, under billing... The app itself is cool and my 7 year old daughter loves it, is it worthy 9,99 a month? For us, not really, unless you use it often... But it is funny and a change in these crazy times... Well done guys.
It has such a huge selection of songs that are good and better because it includes a variety of music from all over the world. I would love to be able to build my favorites from the search without having to start from the 1st song after I ❤️ one to my list. It is such a nuance to start scrolling from the beginning again.
It's very anglocentric, for what is meant to be an international app. The choice of French, German and Italian songs is embarrassing (major classics are missing!). I'm sure the same is true for other languages. And when the songs are available, the arrangements are bizarre or with wrong/made-up lyrics.
Awesome app. Great instrumental tracks and backing vocals when required as like the original song. It's definitely gets a 99% for my score, the only 1% that let's it down are that some songs/tracks the pace or timing of the words lit to be sung is out of timing, either lit too early or too late by a beat or two which translates to 2 or more seconds and that could be a disaster to anyone who doesn't know how the original song is sung. But it is all in all a great app for Karaoke.
Registration via email is still broken, this was mentioned in the reviews over six months ago already. Have to uninstall right after installation as not even able to use.
Singa is used in my favorite karaoke place, and it's great that I can train songs beforehand. Offering a big number of songs and still adding more. Although I've found that lately it's been quantity over quality as many new additions have errors such as weird formatting or broken timing, so here's hoping that reporting them works.
app sucks, tried canceled my acct in the 1st week & still getting billed 4 months later. after going to settings to look up billing info to remove as instructed by support I couldnt find any billing info. y'all are crooks!
they get you to sign up and they tell you you can cancel anytime but when you go to cancel you just keep being sent back to the homepage there really isn't no way to cancel.
The very first song I picked had incorrectly timed lyrics although the backing music itself was fine - if I were to try to sing that song at a karaoke venue I would find it very confusing and offputting. The song list, despite all of the glowing (and truly fake) reviews by numerous Indians, is very limited indeed. It is almost as if Céline Dion never existed before she sang in English, there isn't any Jacques Brel and only 2 Ultra Bra songs! Definitely needs more songs.
Great to have the possibility to check out songs, rehearse and sing karaoke without going to a bar! There are some problems though such as having to start playback of a song first to access the song options (e.g. pitch) and the most central downfall is a poor pitch shift algorithm. Also lyric timing is out of sync in the Google TV app (possibly only when using the pitch functionality). Otherwise great app!
Lately there's been an issue with the favourite function. I "star" songs that then may or may not appear in my list. And some disappear after a while. Some songs in the list don't have the green Star and some do. It's very frustrating to go through and star a lot of songs and then not have them saved In my library. Fyi tried reinstalling and that didn't help. Otherwise a good app. The "videos" are weird a lot of the time but hey, that's classic karaoke right..
The prompts for the music are right on target. My singing sounds just like the songs are supposed to sound like. For somebody who cannot read music, tone deaf, & has a hearing loss; I sound the best I ever have!! I don't know if I just have not found it yet or if it is not an option, but I would really like to video my karaoke songs.
Sneaky company that will find a way to charge you, even if your payment method has expired. Extremely fishy, I advise you all to stay away from entering any payment methods, if you haven't yet. Overall, their music catalogue is pretty generic so if you like pop and trendy music, there are dozens of apps like this. If you want to find specific songs from artists you love, prepare to be disappointed.
Used software to present Karaoke in a very busy venue. so easy to find and queue songs and effortless setup and play allowed me to get on with presenting. Sound quality is excellent bar a couple out of 40 played. Really rate software and recommend to any level of those needing backing tracks.
Not bad, but extremely limited without premium. Also, when I favourite a song, it returns to the top of the page. Very annoying.
Very disappointed. Just signed up to app. The track I need has full singing of all vocals so not much karaoke since I can't hear myself.....Sunny in Seattle Blake Shelton, lower key. Not! a good start.
The library available is NOT all original recordings, and AFTER subscribing, each song i was interested in came up with the choices of cover bands creating a karaoke track, NOT the original artists track as advertised. Bait & switch at its finest. Refund now, and to others reading reviews, you can find just as good if not better on YouTube.
It's a great karaoke app, probably the best one. The list of songs by mainstream artists is bizarrely limited though, and the fact they've dropped the free version from five songs a day to three is such a black mark. Honestly because of the latter, if it weren't for this app being the one my local karaoke bar uses, I'd delete it - I'm not paying a subscription to practice singing when I can do it on YouTube for free.
