Been using Slate for a couple months now. It’s basically an online magazine with all kinds of articles – politics, tech, movies, advice columns, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of stuff.
Here’s what you do: you can browse the latest stories, read full articles, and listen to their podcasts. There’s also a comments section where you can chat with other readers. And you can get push notifications to stay up to date. Took me a while to figure out some of the features but it’s pretty user-friendly overall.
Look, if you’re into reading news and commentary on current events, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – there are a decent amount of ads that can get annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s your kind of thing.
