Very easy to use and understand. Met all my needs for an easy to use, expense report generator. I wish there were basic tools to use in the camera function (crop, brighten, etc.). Other than that, it is a great program. Been using it for over a year now. UPDATE: Capturing Receipts made much more user friendly. Use of native camera app and the addition of a simple crop tool took my rating to 5-stars. Love it!

been using for years, barely subbed for PLUS experience, thought I'd say a few words. I don't keep track of anything for a business or taxes, just a regular guy needing something more than a notepad to keep track of what I spend out of a wad of cash in my wallet. this helps my wife who keeps our family on track with our budget. I can make a report titled "300 bucks" and note when and where I pulled the cash, how much I spent where and log receipts. super easy and Intuitive. 5 stars!

Good app. Just don't loose your password or have to change phones or can't remember how you subscribed. They can't seem to help me reset a password or figure out how I initially got the subscription but they can automatically keep charging me every year and send a receipt to my email address. Support comes via a lot of emails with if ands and buts, however no real solutions. No phone support. As a senior it's a bit much. Can't upload, log in, download reports, just keep asking for another subscription. I've been communicating with a Steven Haus, I have sent him my receipts. Who resets the passwords? You or Google? I can't seem to get that done either. When I try to configure automatic backups it's asking me to subscribe again.

One way to organize receipts. I purchased the pro version and need to warn others. It is extremely easy to lose all your input data. This program overwrites it completely. And there is no way to make a report from a smr file if downloaded to a PC. Yes, there is a way to back up but that has to be done manually. UPDATE - After watching more tutorials, I am revising my rating upwards from before. There is a learning curve with this app.

I tried to find the ad free app to pay the download charge to avoid ads, but I could not find it. I went with the free version with the ads and found the ads were at the bottom of the application and not distracting or in the way. This app is great for keeping track of receipts. I do not mind writing in the amounts or choosing from the drop-down menu once the initial store or Merchant is entered in. I prefer the photo option to make copies of receipts over the inferior scanning methods.

Love this app. I'm self employed so I have a ton of cost to keep up with. I haven't really tried anything else to track cost and receipts but I guess that bc I got the right one to start with. Really easy, just snap a pic of your receipt, it automatically take that info into a form with company, date, cost etc. I always look over it take make sure it picked up the right info but it's rarely wrong. And it's only a couple $ a year. No complaints from me

I travel extensively for my job. I often do not have internet. This program is one of the few I can make entries without an internet connection. It is highly customisable. I used to use Neat Receipts but am dropping that in favour of Smart Receipts. My only complaint is I wish it had a desktop version. Otherwise it is close to perfect. I would like to see a search function. It would be a perfect app if I could search by category, payment method, or vendor.

A very good app for recording, categorizing and reporting expenses. The Usage Guide is well-written and helpful for the majority of the app. The expense portion of the report is somewhat customizable. It would be even better if the mileage expense table was also customizable. Unfortunately, as it is, I cannot eliminate the Currency column. The currency is defined in the settings and seems redundant to show it in the mileage expense table. I look forward to future improvements.

I used to love this program. My company has used it for years. recently, huge changes were made and it feels like a completely different application. it is much more difficult to use, with ridiculous receipt scanning automation that almost never works right and causes images to be skewed. Also, constant reminders to purchase additional features that I don't want. My company will be switching to a different app as soon as I find something reminiscent of the way smart receipts used to work.

Not an app for the common person, and not what I was looking for. The feature for physical scan to digital data is paid, per receipt scanned. Free accounts can save a receipt photo, manually input the total amount, and place the expense in a category. It is maybe 5% better than just starting a spreadsheet (because it looks a little nicer). If you essentially just need to be able to attach photos to your spreadsheet, this free app will be what you're looking for.
