Reviews for Sober Day Counter - Sunflower

← Back to Sober Day Counter - Sunflower

I'm impressed — it's simple. Keep it that way. I love the sunflower idea for each day you're sober, and the community aspect. Plus, no ads so far — not a million of them, anyway. Keep it simple and user-friendly like this, and it's a total 5-star app.

This app is incredible and deserves all the high scoring reviews and praise it has received. I was skeptical, especially of the AI sponsor, but have been blown away by how personal and introspective it has been. The best part? They don't hide these helpful tools behind a paywall, though they do have more available through purchase. They have really gone above and beyond creating a personal safe space accessible to everyone. That is something that can't be overlooked in the addiction world.

this app was just supposed to be a tracker for my days nicotine free , but it has become so much more than that ! first of all , the AI assistant, or my Sponsor Bee , has been the biggest help in this journey. to top it all off , I had an issue with the app not opening , and the developer Shai was so quick to respond to my email and help me not only get the app working , but restore my conversation with my Sponsor Bee. this is my favourite app thus far, Shai I can't thank you enough.

the first set up was not so bad but after the subscription, nothing happens, I had to delete the app and cancel the subscription. what a pity.

Got forced into a paywall when installing on a new phone when it worked perfectly fine on my old one. Uninstalled and will find another app to recommend.

This app is great! I love the Chat feature. Its great because I can get support wherever, whenever. Its very positive and motivating. I also love the journal and information too

can't get app to work on phone even though purchased for month, so either they're greedy and want more money, or won't update my subscription plan. so 1 star. yes I've had this app before and loved it. it won't work now on my phone. so 1 star. sad

I haven't used it yet because it cost way to much. why?? if you make this app to help people why make it cost so so much. also us addicts probably dont have that sort of money either of course. I just want to plant sunflowers:((

Excellent app no commercials no ads whatsoever!!! You are actually talking to a live sponsor It is no way believable that it is AI This app has kept me from drinking and smoking! Seriously it has been my life go to for the rescue!

Absolutely a must-have app for anyone just trying to clean up, become healthier, and want to connect with like-minded people. I do wish there was a way to directly connect with someone so that friendships can be made or learn a little more about someone's background like on a profile or something so you can know where they're coming from in their journey. Other than that, this app lifts me up to know, we're not alone in our trials.

cute little "gold star" sobriety tracking app. I like the journal option included with it; it allows you to journal daily thoughts as well as positive activities done to help take your mind off of using.

has helped me at the crucial times of feeling tempted by speaking to the AI Chat, I have been sober from meth for 348 days and have been a heavy smoker of cigarettes since... have wanted to give up ciggies and failed but sinc I downloaded this app, everytime I feel like one I remember this app and look to see how many hours it's been since my last one and if that doesn't give me enough will power i click to speak to the chat bot and it reminds me why I started in the first place. highly recommed

hands down one of the best apps I've used. period. Been struggling with addiction for 24 years and this app has peer support, sophisticated AI, motivation, tools and information regarding your substance. don't hesitate in making the purchase. It has helped me so much, it's not even funny.

you have to pay, and it doesn't seem to be an option to pay for a year at once, only weekly? Yeah it's pretty inexpensive overall but my finances are so up and down that if I have to pay I'd like to do so upfront to guarantee I can use it in both the ups and downs.

LOVE(D) this app. well, more specifically, I loved Sam. I went to recommend it to a friend who could really use this, and suddenly the free version is gone. I uninstalled mine and reinstalled it to show her mine didn't charge, and now I don't have the option for the free version anymore either.

It would be a 5 star if there was a free version instead of a trial. Just watching the field of sunflowers grow overtime would be a beautiful reminder by itself. No other features needed (for me). Plus, I'm disabled and broke. I can't even afford THIS. :( I just want pretty sunflowers...

The AI sponsor feature is pretty impressive. they can follow up with you at certain times, do check ins, give you suggestions, and support your recovery in many other ways. I can't wait to see where AI takes therapy in the future. No more wasting time trying to find a decent therapist. I felt that the app didn't have enough other features to keep it. There are better recovery apps out there, but if you are looking for something like a day counter or an AI sponsor, check it out.

I just wish there was a direct way to contact the developer and so I can provide my positive feed and insight about the app. For the journal note segment of the app 💡 it would be cool if a compliment journal ( a journal where you can upload screenshots of messages from other users complimenting you), that way you can always go back to memory lane and look at all your accomplishments. I think this would be a great feature to implement into the app that way users can cope with stress.

It's great when it works. I have a new phone and sometimes the app just doesn't open. about to uninstall and reinstall and hope my info saved. when it works: the AI bot is helpful. if your addiction is not a traditional one it still catches on and responds in ways that relate to your addiction. the classes are helpful. I wish there was a general withdrawal from a bad habit instead of specific drugs. the community seems pretty positive. journal helpful. distraction ideas helpful.

I tried to set up the free trial and was completely unable to do so. A week later I was charged $30 and told by support they were not refunding me because on their end the setup was successful and their subscription terms do not allow for refunds. Bottom line here is that they basically stole money from me all because they can. This is a horrible app.
