I think i have found a place that I will be comfortable sharing my life experiences with my addiction & the ways that I have used to keep myself clean & sober. Being a addict is a hard life & getting away from that addiction is a day by day process that if given the time to work it will change your life for the better.
Reviews for Sober Sidekick: Quit Addiction
← Back to Sober Sidekick: Quit Addictionnow, today is my first day on the app, but I've had the warmest welcome from the sober sidekick community. if you need support it will come quick in the form of others helping by sharing their own experiences or actual meetings and therapy from the app. pretty easy to use, similar to a social media feed but only about recovery.
I like the app, tho I'm still learning how to navigate it. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because a few things wouldn't load for me initially.
beautiful design and engagement, thank you for making this. there's so many out there including me who I wish knew more about an app like this existing. means everything to see something with so much impact, I never thought I'd quit but now I feel stronger than ever and the fact there's guided resources too honestly just makes me more excited like I feel like quitting is finally possible 🕊️❤️🔥
What a wonderful app and community! Everyone has been very kind and supportive. There are even virtual meetings 24 hours a day, as well as other resources. God bless the creators, this app has been a blessing!
I am so happy to find an app that's purely based on building a community with like-minded people who support each other through the hard but very necessary journey of sobriety!
I never knew there was an app so great like this one for recovery. I was pleasantly surprised when I found there are 24/7 virtual NA meetings. The support and connections are amazing.
It's a really good app and really good people. if you support others they will support you. I definitely recommend and I'm so glad I downloaded this app. the only problems I have with it is I can't get my counter right. it says longer than I have been and idk how to fix that.
this app is absolutly amazing. it runs great and i have no words for how much its helped me on my journey recovering my life. if your strugling and your looking to connect with people who are going through it too. just download the app its gonna help you trust me.so far im like 2 weeks sober lol this app got me through some dark moments for sure. thank you so much!!!
it's great to know that there is a support group out there that can help me when I need it. Although Im in a once a week D.D.P. sometimes it not enoughand they can't be there all the time just once a week and when the demonds come knocking at your door at 2:00 A.M. there really Noone around to get some support but it's good to know that there are pepolewho can be there when you need someone. Than you for this application is really help.
Absolutely awesome app that can/ will/ does help people in recovery. whether you're in early recovery or have many years in the fact remains that you need a great sober support community. you can find that here on this app and find others that understand what you're going through. you never know, you might be the light that someone needs on any given day, share something that might be profound to someone else or even hear something yourself that will help you in the moment. get the app 10 🌟s
This is one of the better sober apps I've came acrossed, and it has helped me so much in just the short amount of time that I've been using the app, I enjoy helping n encouraging people when they need lifting because I understand where their coming from, but I would recommend this app to anyone that is serious about their recovery
a little tricky at first to navigate, but once you got the hang of it, it's pretty easy from there! love the positivity on this app. the positive uplifting reinforcement is an all around amazing thing to have as support to whomever is beating themselves up for "messing up" their sobriety days they had. Kudos to the one that made this app!! thanks so much!!!
Day two and I'm hooked. This is a community of addicts, all of us having different stories but also the same. This app is fantastic for knowing the love of people who are cheering you on, and giving love to those same people. The app could be a little more responsive and I'd like to see some more reactions when you click "show some love" but the value of this platform is amazing and essential in my walk in so riery.
It has been great getting to see my amount of days I've had in sobriety this time being counted down for me & kept up with through this app, especially after 7 yrs of clean time. So I've really been a little hard on myself for that & disappointed doesn't even begin to scratch the surface on how I feel. But seeing everyone's progress & being able to check the meeting schedule is just an amazing tool to have at your fingertips.
I'm loving this app to help recover from a very long dependency on Marijuana. Seeing the tracker ticking down is so helpful to stay strong and my favorite part is the community. When I'm feeling weak and want to give in, I go one and read post and ask for support and its been so helpful and encouraging. I downloaded other more popular addiction apps, but this one is by far my favorite and what I'll be using exclusively. It feels like a beautiful safe small community & I'm so grateful to find it❤
This app has been more than just an additional outlet to the sometimes chaotic and extreme thoughts I have. It serves as a portal to instant connection I might otherwise not have at any given moment. It offers me different perspectives and modalities to recover instead of continuously keeping myself and recovery in a perverbial box.
I'm really enjoying this app so far. I will have 7 years soberity on January 2nd 2025 I just wanted a new soberity app as the one I've had for 7 years is the same old same old, it has its daily quotes, lets you know the days, minutes, hours and seconds like this one does but it there's not much more to it. With this app you have support from real people it's something new everyday. You get to help real people and encourage them and so much more. I give this app 10/10 so far definitely recommend
It's a good idea. However, the fact that every single time I open the app I am forced to comment on so many posts is very annoying. I am removing the app. I was hoping to be able to post daily so I could see a daily log (so to speak) of my journey. I like commenting on others posts, but I swear it is forcing me to comment on 3-5 separate posts before it allows me to post, which just adds to my iritation.
This app is basically instagram, but for sober people. You're forced to comment before you can post which is just super weird. The 24/7 zoom doesn't seem to work at all. You're also forced to upload a photo every time you post. Why would I want to upload a photo when I'm trying to be anonymous? This app needs a lot of work. There should be different groups/chats you can join, not just one feed.
