So here's my honest take on Sonos Widget. I've tested a bunch of Sonos companion apps and this one's probably the most full-featured. The widgets work really well and make it easy to adjust volume, skip tracks, and see what's playing. And i like that there are two different size options. The setup was a bit tricky at first but once it's connected, it's super smooth. Not gonna lie, it can get a little buggy sometimes and the ads can be annoying. But overall it's a pretty great way to control your Sonos system from your homescreen.

Description

Been using Sonos Widget for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you control your Sonos speakers right from your phone’s home screen. Pretty solid if you’re a Sonos user.

Here’s what you can do: there’s a compact widget and a more detailed one. You can adjust the volume, switch between different rooms and speaker groups, and control playback (play, pause, skip tracks). It’s got support for shuffle and repeat modes too. Took me a bit to figure out the setup, but once it’s connected to your Sonos system it works seamlessly.

Look, if you use Sonos a lot, you’ll probably really like this. It’s not perfect – the widget can get a bit buggy sometimes – but overall it’s a super convenient way to control your music without having to open the full Sonos app. Worth checking out.

Had to uninstall and then reinstall and then it connected immediately. the one drawback is that neither widget has all the controls I want. I'd prefer both the back/forward AND...
