I’ve been using Sound Analyzer for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you analyze audio signals on your phone. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do – you can view the frequency and amplitude spectrum of any sound in real-time. And there’s also a waterfall view that shows changes over time, and a waveform view too. It’s got some pretty cool features. Took me a while to figure out how to use some of them, but it’s all pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you’re into audio engineering or just geeking out over sound data, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times and the free version has ads. But overall it does a solid job and is worth checking out, especially if you don’t want to lug around extra audio gear.
