So here's my honest take on SqueezePlayer. I've tested a bunch of music streaming apps and this one's one of the better options if you're using a Logitech Squeezebox. The ability to stream your entire library directly to your phone is super convenient. In my experience, the audio quality is pretty good too. But it's not without its issues - the UI can be a little confusing to navigate at first, and I've run into some connectivity problems when on spotty WiFi. Overall though, it's a solid option if you're looking to untether your Squeezebox music.

Description

Been using SqueezePlayer for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you stream all your Logitech Squeezebox music straight to your Android device. Pretty solid if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you can connect the app to your Squeezebox server and then stream your local music library, internet radio, and songs from apps like Spotify. There’s also a bunch of settings to tweak the sound quality and playback. Took me a while to figure some of that out, but it’s useful once you get it set up.

Look, if you’re a Squeezebox user, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to take your Squeezebox tunes with you on the go.
