this app is aesthetically very nice, but it glitches all the time, and doesn't even properly track my period. if I forget to input the day when I start, the app either says I'm 40 days away from it, or that I'm about to start every day. it's just silly, why can't it use the info from the last few months to keep a proper schedule? I just don't think it's a helpful app.
Reviews for Stardust: Period & Pregnancy
← Back to Stardust: Period & PregnancyHonestly I really like this app, it's nice looking, almost entirely free, you can share it with your partner and you can put down side effects you're feeling while menstruating! The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that it is a bit buggy sometimes and I imagine it's not very good on older phone models. The app can also be a bit confusing on how to use it but once you explore all its features it becomes simple.
Great app, very fun to use as well. The only reason why I don't give 5 stars is because the app glitches a lot. Maybe it's because it's an android version, but the sentences are often cut in half, as if there wasn't enough space to display it and every time I add the start of my cycle, it glitches back to the previous version as if I had never put any information, until I do it a second time. addendum: Customer Service contacted me, problem solved. I appreciate the attention and time!
I had this app on my iPhone and loved it! Easy to use, great interface, everything worked, saved and predicted my cycle with pretty good accuracy. When I switched to an Android, it was a different story! Even though I had saved all my info under my gmail account, nothing transferred over including my current yearly subscription. Been using it a few months and it still won't track my cycle or save symptoms. Needs a LOT of work!
I started my period a few days ago so I could finally use the app and it's safe to say I LOVE IT. I can track my period, write down symptoms, get motivation to keep going, and genuinely learn new things every day. I'm enamored by the additions of science and spirituality throughout the app. and seeing the moon cycles?? I absolutely recommend this for anyone with a period
this app is a definite 5 star for me. it helps me be able to log and track my cycle so much easier then most apps, and I enjoy the features it allows even without paying any money. (i wish some of it was free though still 🥺, but I understand.) it is still one of the best cycle apps I have used, and I recommend it for all.
I love this app. I love everything about it. the only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because I have to input that I have my tubes tied every time. there's no permanent button. I'm no longer tracking to get pregnant or prevent pregnancy. Im just tracking for the sack of knowing when it's coming. if there was a button to put that into effect, it would get 5 stars.
Great insight into where you're hormone levels are at during each part of your cycle. It has been helping me to learn about each one, and better yet, to back up how I'm feeling... gives me the why! ♡♡ I also really love the verbiage!! Ex: "Today you're like a phone on airplane mode..." Ha! Also love the look and the various info, including the moon cycle. ♡ I'm enjoying the paid version, I felt it was a reasonable price. But there is still a fair amount of info for the free version! ✔️
Lots of symptoms you can put daily not just on ur period. super easy to use. can add friends to it. best period app I've used (used like 4 or 5 different ones). it was perfectly tracking it until I started my new birth control but it's messed with them, so it's reliable too. it just glitches occasionally but just close out the app and open it back up and you'll be fine.
Edited: Updated it to 4 stars because their customer service is really good. The app is such a cute concept and I want to love it. But it's very buggy and constantly is lagging. I have to load symptoms multiple times and the calendar takes forever to load. I paid for the premium to connect with my friends and none of them have appeared so that's disappointing.
I LOVE this app. it's so informative and helpful and its hormone tracking is very cool to see (as a visual person). Unfortunately, I can't log anything other than my period anymore. I can't even add a journal entry. It says my internet connection is bad or to reload, but I've done so for weeks. I even redownloaded it. It sucks, but this kind of bug makes it impossible to use.
The app has many positive features, and its layout is visually appealing. However, I find it somewhat confusing to navigate. It doesn’t provide fully accurate tracking of my period, and I'm unable to enter all of my period days at once. As a result, it struggles to maintain accurate records of my cycle and symptoms. Regarding the subscription, I'm confused about what I'm actually paying for, as it seems the free version and the subscription version offer very similar features.
I love the interface so far and love all the details I'm able to input! I felt the premium was a reasonable price for the additional features. My only issues with it are 1) the Archetype quiz will not let me pass the 4th question, it just says "Answer is not valid" no matter which option I choose, and 2) I'm not able to click on my friend in the "your friends" tab, even though she's able to click into it for additional insights between us. I hope these get fixed on future updates for Androids!
the app has been useful for the most part. but recently, I haven't been able to add symptoms or even click on the button to do so. Every time I try to move to the symptoms tab, it tell me something is wrong with my internet connection -- BUT THERE ISNT. I've tried everything to fix it. Logging out of my account, closing the app, deleting and redownloading the app. but its still not working.
I love this app, it's been my favorite tracker ever. My only conundrum (why 4 instead of 5 stars) is this: irregular cycles. The calendar doesn't like when cycles run together or you spot in-between, it wants 1 day of nothingness before it will begin tracking again. I know, I am Air, a Gray Mystery, and Amazing. I *love* that BUT I need to bring an accurate calendar to my OBGYN. I never want to switch apps. Am I missing something in the app or is it just not there?
It has so much potential but can be really buggy. I have had to uninstall and reinstall a few times just to get normal use from it. There are still annoying issues like the same message popping up throughout the entire cycle in one month but then different messages (like it's supposed to) coming up daily in a different month. Pages take forever to load and sometimes need to be tapped multiple times. Probably an iphone focused app that has put android users on the back burner unfortunately
The app is fine. I mean, it works, for the most part. I have to open and close it a handful of times before it actually opens, which can get very frustrating when I just want to input symptoms and see what phase I'm in. I also wish there were some sort of surface-level insights or something, instead of so much of the app being behind a $2.99/week or $24/year pay wall. Things like "this is your Inner Autumn phase" while cute doesn't quite help me actually understand what's going on with my body.
I just downloaded this app, coming from clue, but the app is so laggy and buggy it's unusable. I was able to track symptoms on 2 different days before the app stopped saving the symptoms I enter. It's also extremely slow and laggy, takes forever to refresh, and sometimes the whole thing will freeze, it'll be totally unresponsive, links won't work, etc. It's...really bad. Like. Really really bad.
This is my preferred app. I had some issues at first. I had downloaded and input all my previous months cycles accurately, and in the settings changed my cycle and period length. Not sure why but I had trouble getting it to save. I had to redo that 3 times, and still noticed my prediction and cycle length would revert back to standard. I think it's been fixed though, the last time I set it seemed to take.
I like many features of this app, but period tracking leaves much to be desired. it is incapable of back dating period start dates (ex. if I input my start date on my second day, it still sets "day 1" for a later date, which makes it impossible to provide accuracy) which is frustrating when i am trying to use this app to calculate my phases. Might delete just because it is so inconsistent.
