So here's my take on Starting Strength Official. I've tried a bunch of fitness apps and this one's pretty solid. The core program is legit - it's the same one from the best-selling book, and it's a proven way to build total body strength as a beginner. The app does a good job of walking you through the lifts and keeping you on track. Honestly, my only real gripe is the user interface - it's a bit outdated and not super intuitive. But the core functionality is there and it gets the job done.

Description

Been using Starting Strength Official for a couple months now. It’s basically a strength training app that walks you through the classic Starting Strength program. Pretty solid if you’re into lifting weights and getting stronger.

Here’s what you do: there’s a series of basic barbell exercises like squats, bench press, and deadlifts. The app has detailed instructions and videos on how to do them properly. It’s got a built-in workout log too, which is handy for tracking your progress. And the programs are really well designed – took me a while to figure out all the different phases and variations but it’s worth it.

Look, if you’re into strength training, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to get serious about lifting.

Great app to have for running a LP and is still good to have even if you're not. It will show you what plates you need for each weight and...
