Great app! It's straight forward and simple, and ads are so little that it's like once a week depending on how often you open the app. I just decided to donate/pay to not have ads and even then it was cheap. Would definitely recommend :).

i like this app because it does exactly what i want it to do. i would love to see it updated more. the tabs that show average steps for the week and month are sometimes broken, only showing how many i walked that day. also, the steps don't update until you open the app. not a huge deal though. it might be cool to have a feature that shows other people's goals, so we can encourage them!

This is a great app that syncs to my galaxy watch. I just wish there were a way to delete or edit unnecessary entries. Then again, maybe my friend in my challenge would cheat. Still, I wish there were a way to delete days so that we could have all started the challenge at the same time.

The worst app as it give option to connect with other wearable , and its not accurately reading the data from health connect ,not in proper sync, if you login simultanseously from other phone there daya is not sync and not updated. also Data sync is not proper. im case my phone is off it should sync... also i detected a bug in app.. it shows sometime inaccurate data and its not getting updated.

Get rid of average. I've been using this for challenges only to find out that if the app does not calculate steps for days,a person does not log into the app. So, I'll be in second place with 10000 steps behind someone with 5000 steps because they didn't log into the app for a couple days. Average doesn't work for competition. We need total count. Also, i see we can now connect directly to Samsung Health. That's not calculation steps from samsung watch nor phone. It's not working at all

Great little app for keeping track of steps, but also competing against friends/groups!! Paid to remove the adds, as they were getting frustrating, only issue I have is lately the groups seem to be blank and you have to switch between groups to get the steps to update! hopefully sorts itself out eventually

This app was working fine for 2 Weeks, suddenly after that time sync problem happened (every time it was showing updated 5hrs ago). And one day, my step count was 23k+ and next day it was showing no updates for yesterday and the step count was 0. I sent mail for support as well, but didn't get any reply from their end.Very dissatisfied..worst app.

I used to have fitbit and loved being able yo connect with others and "walk together". Well fitbit sold out to Google. They got rid of that feature. ever since I've been looking for something identical. I've had iphone and apple doesn't have that feature, I now have android, and its got something close to it but only for Samsung users. StepUp allows all people no matter your phone platform. Apple, android, google etc all is welcome, and we can all link up and walk virtually together again! 100/10!

This app used to be pretty good. I still like the social features. However, it is insisting on showing ads even though I PAID for it. Reinstalling the app doesn't help. It also lost previous history when I installed it on my new phone after uninstalling from my old phone. I will change my feedback if this issue gets addressed. EDIT: I sent them all the details including purchase proof on 3rd August. There is no response.

The app is motivating if you have a good group of friends pushing you. The only downside is that they once lost historical data for my account, which isn't the end of the world but is annoying when its one function is to record steps and give you previous weeks' data so you can improve. I emailed asking them how to fix it, and they said it was a glitch and they'd add my steps back if I sent in screenshots, which was a hassle, but I obliged, and they never fixed it anyway.

This app was installed to do a friendly 10k steps a day challenge with my friends and family members. I noticed immediately that after syncing my steps via Health Connect, there was a 2-3 thousand difference in my steps. My watch and phone would have the same number, while the StepUp app had a significant amount less. I wouldn't recommend the app if you have anything other than an iPhone because my friends with iPhones didn't have any complaints. 0/10.

The best part for me is that it tells me the number of steps I've taken along with the mileage without a lot of extraneous info (heartrate, blood pressure, weather in Paris, etc. 😀) The downside is that I can't calibrate it to my stride length so it may not be particularly accurate. I've been using Step Up for a couple of years now and still think it's terrific - my walking group compares our 10K walks each week for accuracy and we seem to be within a reasonable reach of each other. Nice!

I enjoy this app, but there are a lot of things that I hope that they'll fix. 1. No direct integration with Garmin (or Fitbit). I had to buy a 3P app to sync my Garmin to Fit, then Fit to StepUp. 2. No country-wide/global leaderboards. 3. Invite links (for friend adding or group joinin) do not work - they redirect to the app store instead of opening the app. Please just make a code-entering system - the "enter link" system is not intuitive. 4. No background auto-refresh - must open the app.

It's really disappointing that it doesn't keep accurate step count. Several friends with apple and Android wanted to be in a friendly step competition and the android are always off. You have to get a 3rd party app to sync but that's only free for a little while. I was hoping if I paid for the app it would sync better but nope still sucks. If you could fix it I would give 5 stars but I think people should know it doesn't keep accurate step count!

I think it's great. Facebook logins, small and simple, easy on battery. Does what it says and no more. Occasionally slow to start up. Best of all, completely free with no ads, nags, or in app purchases! edit 7/19/2023: At least on android it's gotten a lot slower to refresh over time and just doesn't work at all frequently. 3 stars, good when it works, counts steps and low battery usage, plus they are beginning implementing ads. I don't blame them, but being utterly free was a big draw for me.

Love how compatible it is with different health trackers since my friend group has a lot of variation (samsung, garmin, apple, etc) and this was the best app for competing across different devices. I do wish there was more of a race graphic showing the standings, or different group competitions set in the app. Could also use a groupchat, but overall a great and simple to use app!

I have been using it with a group of work friends for a few months and it's been fun for us with different devices! Even when the app had temporary issues, I sent them an email inquiring about it and they emailed me shortly after and had the app issue fixed. The only annoying thing I don't like is the ads however they do offer ad free but it's not in my budget at the moment.

This app offers very little new compared to built in trackers. I originally downloaded so I could join my company's stair step contest. However, joining a work group requires an account, and an account required a Facebook or Google connection. To me, this is a blatant reach for personalized data, and an increased risk for data breaches. I would rather sign up via email, but that is not an option. So I'm uninstalling. This app just isn't wish the data and space it takes up for what it is.

I have a Galaxy 23 ultra. I'm glad I can connect to family and friends with iphone while using this app. My complaint is that the app does not automatically sync my step data throughout the day. Also, the app does not gather information about passed days for Androids like it does for apple users. if we could make the functionality of the App the same for both android and apple, it would be a 5 star app for me.

Cute app, but the notifications are insane. I've turned notifications off, but I'll get at least 2 at the same time that are not very helpful. I just got SEVEN notifications at one time, all along the lines of "steps are helpful, steps are healthy, steps are creative". Might delete the app soon if i can't actually turn off notifications.
