The app is not good. It was giving me the run around. It froze in the middle of setting up my account and it kept asking me for a different email to contiue. Total waste of my time I cant even see my X-ray results.
Reviews for Summit + CityMD
← Back to Summit + CityMDLooks like Summit is faking reviews here to give the app 5 stars. All 5 star reviews are one or two words and useless in content. Never expected a reputable company to commit obvious fraud like this! App freezes when providing feedback. No ability to see your messages sent to your doctor on the web portal or back from them. While canceling an appointment, tells you there was an error but eventually cancels it anyway. It's much worse than the web portal, which also needs help.
Horrible app to many bugs, no stars. I tried to sign into the app 25 times. I verified my phone number and email address each time, but when I would try to verify the email or phone number it would bring me back to the verify page. One big unhappy circle
Absolutely worthless app. Doesn't let me sign in and doesn't change verification codes although I've asked for new ones 5 times. Even uninstalled and reinstalled. No difference in performance. Shame on Summit for accepting this as a workable portal.
Very helpful and informative. An extremely patient woman behind the counter! I had NO IDEA what I was doing with the app sign in but she was so patient w/walking me through it all. She honestly did everything short of fill out the data for me. Within 5 minutes after checking in we were in a room & seeing a doctor. Great experience (except, of course, for being sick😉).
After reading the reviews on how difficult it is to Register/Sign Up in the My Summit Health app, I decided to check it out for myself. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to register without any difficulty. The app suited my purpose of obtaining lab results from a CityMD visit. Note: I was able to obtain the results of my lab report and share /print it without any difficulty. Given the ease in registering and obtaining my lab report, I give it 5 Stars.
What junk! I sign in through my patient portal all the time. Now I try the app and when I create an account and try to log in all it does is keep asking me to verify my phone number with the code they send (did that 4 times with no luck) or verify email with link, again no luck actually getting into the account.
I go through each step of setting up a virtual meeting, then when i hit 'start visit' I get an error pop up saying no credit card - I was never prompted to add a cc. I try to go to home to add a cc but it won't allow saying payment will be added during next appt...unsuccessful for something that is "urgent"
My experience with this app isn't good. I made a password and then tried to sign in. It kept telling me " wrong password". I tried 3 times. I know the password, I just created it. But it kept telling me it was wrong. I had to uninstall it. There was a better app for summit, to look up your test results from urgent care, city MD. But I deleted it and it's not in the app store anymore, unfortunately.
It's great to see your past appts and test results, however the app doesn't show any letters such as doctors notes or care information/instructions given by doctors in case patients or parents lose the paperwork they were given. That would be a handy feature that is often included in other patient portals.
If I could give this app less than 1 star I would. It is abysmal. Good thing I also called the help.center who gave me an alternate number I should call. You know what works best, real people. I am sick of companies being cheap and replacing bodies with apps. In healthcare it doesn't work and makes people angry. I'm glad share prices are the most important factor for providers. No more automated systems. Put people in seats.
I'm surprised by all the bad reviews. I used this once so far for a virtual appointment and it worked great. There were 2 doctors available and I didnt have to wait long to see one. She sent my prescription refill to my pharmacy and it was quick and easy. Although the app did not update to show the visit was over and it stated that it wasnt sent, but it was. I also couldn't message the provider even tho I'm suppose to be able too since it was virtual. So the app needs work. But I liked it.
This app never worked for me. It is unable to remember my log in credentials. It never remembers the email and password I just signed up with. It's very frustrating that this is the only way I can look at my charts, however it definitely doesn't seem like smg is too interested in actually helping people do this. It's frustrating that any doctor in this network is relegated to using a chart system that does not work.
Crashed and froze repeatedly during set up. Finally got it stable and it turns out to be basically useless. I need a single function: view and download COVID test results. I can see that my results have arrived from the lab, but there is no way to view or download. The app fails to perform its most basic function. I had to go back to the CityMD retail location, but the people there weren't able to get it to work either. In the end they had to take a screencap on a desktop and print it for me on paper in black&white, which I had to take home and scan to PDF. Seems like a major step backwards. The portal they had before is clunky, but at least it performs the basic functions it was designed for. Uninstall.
Can't recall ever successfully scheduling an appointment, Summit makes you complete history forms online multiple times per week if you have multiple appointments, even with same doctor, then makes you complete the form on paper when you arrive for the appointment. Individual doctors are often great, but really beginning to dislike the group, and the terrible app is emblematic of the group function.
I was very happy to see there is a finally an app for Summit, but unfortunately it doesn't seem ready. It keeps asking me to sign in again, is incredibly slow, the dates on test results are the wrong years, did not bring the messages over, and not all results from the portal are reflected in the app. Hopefully they can work out the kinks bc it would be great to have in place of logging onto the portal.
I can't ever log in with the app but I can log into my portal through my browser just fine.
App doesn't work. keeps crashing and would only allow me to sign in half the time and when I do I get in I receive an instant error message. It allowed me ONE video call and have not been able to get in after to send the provided the paperwork I need. Complete trash.
USELESS. Has never worked without problems and never will. I have tried using it after every update and it fails miserably due to its perennially useless six digit code authentication requirement after I have correctly typed in my username and PW. Never ever have I been able to reliably log on to the app via your authentication method of sending me a 6 digit code. Whenever I use the code, it fails to log me in. Like I said... USELESS.
ZERO STARS... This app is EXTREMELY counterproductive. There is no reason to use this app if it takes longer than half an hour to sign a patient in. Overall, I have waited for more than an hour and counting, simply because of wasting so much time on this USELESS app... Also, there seems to be NO WAY to update your email address if there were technical issues upon creation of said account.
