hard to use for international brands. while it claims in the description to help track micronutrients and vitamins, won't let you add vitamins or OTC
Reviews for SuppCo: Supplement Scanner
← Back to SuppCo: Supplement ScannerWish advanced version was free, but great information!
cannot log in. just loops around and around. waste of time. poor development
infinite loop login verification. unusable app. waste of time
Easy to use. Takes the guess work out of searching for good quality vitamins.
Love, this app! Makes choosing a supplement stack so easy.
It's a very cool app. Helps rate the quality of supplements you're taking or considering. Evaluates what you're taking and if it's enough or too much. Highly recommended.
i downloaded the app but it won't go past the "Let's Get Started" page. just keeps cycling back.
I'm not sure how I'm supposed to report a bug so hopefully this 1 star review gets the developers attention. I can't login using a Pixel 6 on Android 15. the first time I downloaded the app it let me select an account, but reset to the first screen. after that, every time I click through or try "I have an account"it resets to the first screen. I've tried uninstalling, and I've tried deleting storage.
I'm not sure that I trust this, because I know for a fact Puritan's pride is a backed company that's been around for a long time and truly works for me and I compared Puritan's pride in the barcode scanner which got a low score but yet I bought something off of Amazon and scanned that barcode and they say that it's excellent after telling us that random supplements bought on Amazon were mostly fake. I purposely used this experiment to test it.
You need to create an account to use the app. It won't let me do it. When I try to use my email, it says authentication error. When I try to use a Google account, it just redirects me to the welcome screen.
As much as I looked forward to using the app, it was buggy from the getgo: I have an Android phone and Google account. I simply could not log in. Very disappointing.
This supplement rating app is highly overrated on Reddit. people will quote sup. Co when I asked him about a particular supplement on Reddit and they will act like that score determines whether or not you should buy the vitamin or other supplement. like the piping Rock multivitamin got a low score of just 5.94. however when you click on it and then look you see that the product quality is excellent. just read it low because lack of certification in testing and innovation
Good concept but I couldn't find a specific product until I scanned it, and then more options were available, but then the product page for my version was missing and so I tried to "report a problem" and that page was errored and wouldn't open either
Love this App! I have used it a few months and totally changed the brands of my supplements based on their ratings. There are much better supplements on the market that are manufactured in a more trustworthy way and tested. I feel more confident that what I am taking is beneficial and not just pretty packaging. It is easy to use and there is a wide range of products and prices. They do not sell, but show the categories of what they look for and then assign a rating to that product.
you suggest high dollar supplement. That is a joke I didn't think I was paying for. I put $20-$50. More like $20- $30 as my cost limit. $110 for one 30 day supplement? That's not nice. Totally irrelevant for me. I would like real information to match MY profile not stearing me for a sale.
I have been using it for a month, and then it stopped working. I re installed the app, and it constantly asks me to upgrade to Pro, but I already have pro before the re install. it just loops in a vicious cycle. this needs to be addressed. it is un-usable like this
Missing a ton of very popular name brand basic items, like BodyTech Creatine. And even if you submit them with front and back pictures, barcodes, etc, they never add them and they stay in a perpetual "matching" phase. And you can't add them to your trackers or notifications manually until they clear them, making this app completely useless unless you are on their approved "stacks." Uninstalled, and won't be back. New products are released all the time and I'm not waiting for them every time.
Absolutely awesome so far. It's already been so helpful. It's a bit glitchy (won't even let me open the app currently) and I wish you could schedule supplements for different days if you aren't supposed to take them everyday. (for example, I have a supplement I have to take every other day.) But it's super user friendly, approachable, and makes me feel so at ease knowing more about the supplements I'm taking.
I really appreciate this app and what creators are doing, however within a few weeks of signing up I noticed so many technical errors/omissions that I decided to opt out of the subscription and guess what, you pay for the whole year (I did not interrupt the cancellation policy that way). I would have been fine with the flaws if I had the opportunity to give feedback, however there is no mechanism to do so.
