They changed the alerts. NO longer get texts. I'm getting ready to change banks. When I call they can't help, than transfer me and I get stuck on hold. I have a hard time making it pass the the first 15 to 20 minutes before I hang up. No longer convenient banking. The last time I made it to 30 minutes. They finally admitted that they no longer send text messages.

It does not allow you to sign on to your credit card if you do not have a checking/savings account...no matter how hard you try. Not gonna happen!!! In 2021, your app should seamlessly span across all platforms and services offered by TD Bank. SMH. Fix it Jesus. Really deserves 0 stars because it excludes a segment of your customers.
Mobile deposit never can read image and is a complete waste of time. I have a great camera on my Google Pixel phone, use a dark background, capture a clear image but wait!, that's not good enough! It gives you an error and makes you try over again until three tries you're out. Now you have a fully endorsed check on your hands and you have to find a time to actually go to a physical location. The "convenience" of TD Banks so-called mobile deposit is illusionary. It simply doesn't work.
For several days, I mostly can't get the app to work right. It takes forever to open, staying on the green screen, and when it finally does, won't allow biometrics or username and password. I've tried closing and reopening the app, restarting, and it once or twice has opened after a restart, but that's not been the norm, and it stopped very quickly after. TD Bank promises convenience. This is not convenient!
UPDATE 2-2021....You know how they say the most successful people are up at 3am to start their hustle? Well they didn't have TD. It NEVER WORKS AT 3AM. Every.single.day there is maintenance at 3am! Takes a few tries to do anything on it. I have to set up a transfer about 4 times before it will come up with something other than an error message. I have updated the app many times, and this problem has been going on for over a year. I finally had enough and decided to write a review about it.
Updates are annoying when you're trying to get things done. The app usually works well enough. However, often, I open it to check balances, send money, etc, and I am blocked by a required update from doing anything. Of course, this always happens when I am in a hurry or traveling. App updates should include an option to update either immediately after you're ready to close it OR an option to choose a time that works for you.
I can't make a mobile deposit. Every time I take a picture, it says "See you soon. For security purposes you have been logged out." I spoke to customer support and they said there is no reason its happening. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app for the third time and its only my account; no matter the device. I dont know if its a bug or if its something wrong with my account. It would be so much more convenient if I can make mobile deposits. Other than this, great app.
It's not good or bad it's just average for a bank app. I wish there was an option for text alerts or push notifications. Email alerts just don't cut it. You're not a small company, if other banks and credit cards can figure it out you can too. In response to TD: I did download the other app (Which is ridiculous by the way). It only works for transactions. I'm looking for a balance threshold notification. That can only be done via email. I don't constantly check email so it's not helpful.
TD's app is designed fairly nicely. It's got the standard selection of banking options and isn't difficult to use. It works well and I have no grievance with its set up. That's is, when it works. More often than not, the app crashes on loading. Or it'll take me to the login screen where I'm notified that the fingerprint option is not available at this time. Even then, sometimes after entering my credentials and logging in, the app immediately logs back out with a snarky 'see you soon' message displayed. Real classy, TD. There's been times where I needed to make a payment but was unable to because I couldn't access my account. There's been times where I was unable to see if a check cleared because the app was down again. TD, as a bank, you can't afford to operate your business with the same relaxed attitude as a semi-retired fisherman. Banking information can't only be available on days the app happens to want to work.
The app shows you one thing, and the bank tells you a complete different thing. the app shows when payments and purchases post, but according to the bank when i call its always on a different time. what's the point of the app and keeping myself updated on my account if the information you provide its not accurate? I've payed so much in overdraft fees because of these mistakes
I feel that if you use multi services from a company i.e. savings, checking, investment, business checking, etc. that you(we) should see able to see them all in one place. since the TD Business app was killed, i now have to log out than loot back in to see my business account. They told me there is a way to do it. k went to a branch and filled out a form, it's been almost a week. still nothing...Other than that though, the app work terrifically for my personal banking! Thank you
I would give this app a negative 10 if I could Worst app I have ever seen. If I make a deposit regardless of the amount it takes two weeks to clear!Check will be put on hold, then account will get overdraft, then you will have to pay a fee, because account got overdrawned. Eventhough the bank decided to put my check on hold for two weeks until it gets cleared. Sometimes I'll get a 30, 35, 25, 20 dollar fee for overdraft, the bank doesn't even have a policy on how much to charge for overdraft!
Can you please fix your app?! I have not been able to access my account via your app for about a week now. All it does is have the perpetual "please wait" screen or it doesn't load at all. I've reset my phone numerous times and even reinstalled the app. Please correct this issue! Update 1.3.22 was told to contact tech support which in turn I was that "there are no known issues with the app". You literally have multiple people stating there is an issue! Clearly there's something wrong!
There were multiple times when I select to contact customer service on the app and once I speak to an agent, they tell me that my account is locked. One second, I'm able to use my app and card. And the next, when I see something off or just have a simple question, the first thing I am told, my account has been locked. Everyone, just dial the number in the back of your card, don't waste your time using the app as shortcut...
I always get an error when trying to transfer money via Zelle. Zelle works fine in the website itself when sending and receiving funds, but I should be able to to do in the app without issue. I just get a generic "We're working on it!" landing page and a button for status updates that says there's nothing to be found. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app didn't help things. Very disappointing to have this issue.
It was working great. Then something changed a couple months ago and mobile deposits are a complete nightmare!! The app shuts down when attempting to photograph the check for deposit. Its like they don't want my money in their bank. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times - nothing works!! Fix it soon or this long time customer will have to bank elsewhere!!!!!! Annoyed!!
Spring 2021 major usability issues Specifically, the Android app throws an error and will not allow login. Everything works smoothly in a web browser, but the app issues persist for over a month and through updates. This appears to be a widespread issue just looking at the review comments here. I finally got it working, but only after completely uninstalling and then reinstalling the current version of the app. No guidance, assistance, or response from TD Bank. Seems like they are not upholding their end of the bargain for user access and might have trouble collecting overdraft fees, etc. when users have no access to their account info.
plenty problems with debit card items purchased have been removed without my knowledge and/or verbal or written consent, card sometimes not accepted at other ATM machines purchases decline after being pay for, then decline after being paid for. charges applied for items l didn't purchase. always something with this account. it's been reported but nothing is being done. money always there!
The app just doesn't work how it used to. It takes a long time to load to the log on screen, and when you enter your log in credentials, you can't even access your account information. It puts you back on the log in landing page to re-enter your login credentials. I just go on the web to see my stuff, which is inconvenient because of the extra verification steps, but by far way less stressful than using the app.
alerts set up on debit card no longer working. ive deleted app, removed alerts, and readdrd them, talked to TD bank and reported it to them. still not working when card is used. I've never had an issue until last week. I have alerts set up for any purchase, and amount, present or not present card. ive always received the alert when I use my debit card. now, nothing......very disappointed App keeps crashing while depositing checks... never had an issue
