So here's my honest take on The Psalter 2024. I've tested a bunch of faith-based music apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The sound quality is great and it's got a nice selection of classic Psalm arrangements. But I do wish there were more modern renditions too. And the app can feel a bit bare-bones compared to some of the more feature-rich hymn apps out there. Still, if you're looking for a simple, no-frills way to access the Psalms, this gets the job done.

Description

Been using The Psalter 2024 for a couple months now. It’s basically a collection of 462 arrangements of the 150 Psalms and 17 Special Numbers, published by some Christian churches. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do – you can browse through all the Psalm arrangements, listen to samples, and save your favorites. And there’s also a section for the Special Numbers, which is pretty cool. And you can create playlists and set it to play while you read the Bible or do your daily devotions. Took me a while to figure out some of the features but it’s all pretty user-friendly.

Look, if you’re a fan of Christian music and looking to dig deeper into the Psalms, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the selection is a bit limited compared to other hymn apps I’ve tried – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if that’s your thing.

I love the content. Can you make it so I can zoom in on the score? It is hard to read on a small phone screen.
