The app is GREAT, but lately, whenever I make a reservation and choose to spend my yums, the restaurant doesn't include the discount and blames this on the app, saying that, ever since the last update, the reservation notice doesn't include the discount, forcing us to show them the confirmation. At the place I went to yesterday, they even said they have contacted support about this several times, to no avail. Will restore rating to 5 stars once the issue is addressed.

Review changed form 5 to 1 star. There is NO real support for problems, just a moronic and extremely frustrating "forkie" bot. I'm using up my remaining yums and deleting the app over your "forkie" bot.

Used this app once to book a restaurant, couldn't find out how to modify the number of people so cancelled and rebooked. Went to the restaurant, but then a week or two later was emailed to say my account had been suspended for violating their terms of use. What? Customer service replied with a message along the lines of "too bad". Just call the restaurants directly, don't support TheFork.

I'm forced to install an app to see information on a booking we made, I'm FORCED to make an account... And after all that the app still doesn't even show the booking when I click the link. Useless junk. Uninstalled.

Misleading advertising: be careful with the promotions, even if the discount is shown on the calendar, as you may not get it at the restaurant because of some hidden condition (like "only the first 10 clients get it"). Poor support. After complaining about the problem, the support just responded that I got it wrong and closed the ticket, no investigation, no refund, nothing. Seems that the customer support does not even bother to open the app and check what's in there. Closed my account.

hard to use yums but great for finding new places and discounts

NOT WORTH IT. I AM TIRED OF ASKING FOR THE DISCOUNT every time. Today, I tried to spend the loyalty points (even though I paid everywhere with the app, when it's time to cash in the points most restaurants DON'T accept it). The bill came, I entered the amount on it, expecting to get the loyalty discount, suprise it charged me the full bill amount. The points have been spent. If you want a good deal just get a menu, don't bother with this app. I raised the issue, I'll update if I get a cashback .

its showing 30% off in "todayc and there's one timeslot left but when you click in the detail booking, the 30% is gone (which i thought its default 30% for the whole day) and i end up with a ridiculous bill

A MUST have app when traveling in Italy. Downloaded this app to make reservations to some of the restaurants that required it, but some restaurants have promotions for up to 50% off food as well.

Useless. Can't book without a phone number (I don't have one enabled while travelling). No way to verify via email.

A decent app with loads of good offers, just made my first booking. looking forward to dining on a discount!

I opened an account, made my first reservation and got an email saying that my account was canceled because i had multiple accounts...what an awful waste of my time.

I booked the restaurant through this app using my yums but the restaurant member said while billing they didn't activated Fork and they did not give discount then I escalated to Fork they returned yums back but I lost my money thinking that I will get discount it was pathetic experience

Misleading promotions by The Fork This has become a recurring issue, well known both to restaurants and to The Fork, yet left unresolved. The app consistently leads customers to believe they are entitled to a discount, right up until the end of the process. However, once at the restaurant, when the bill arrives, staff inform you that no discount applies. The Fork has misled you into thinking those promotions were still valid. It is evident that The Fork team is aware of this problem.

I haven't been able to book with a promo code for eight months now. the app rejects my phone number for some reason, and tech support is not helping. I've been using the fork since 2016, and I've always recommended it to friends and family, but my experience this year has been awful.

Disappointing thus time in Madeira. On previous visits I have used the app to book nearly all my evening meals. This time it is not showing any availability where I want to dine but I can ring up and book a table no problem.

installed it, signed up, reserved a restaurant (with discount advertised) and then tried to pay with the app to use the discount and a voucher I had. The restaurant hadn't heard of the app and said they don't deal with it. Save your time, effort and data and just book the old fashioned way. This app appears to be an elaborate data mining bit of kit

This app is a great tool for making reservations at restaurants that subscribe to the service. I'm too old to learn Portuguese or Spanish (believe me, I've tried), so being able to make a reservation without having to call and risk screwing it up is very reassuring. I appreciate having my contact information saved so that making reservations only requires a few clicks. It seems many, perhaps most, of the restaurants don't accept payment through The Fork's app.

Lousy! We made a reservation for an out of the way restaurant providing pickup transportation. The app did not allow the input of our pickup location, the app did not allow you to contact the restaurant. The app then gave error messages as we attempted to modify and then cancel our reservation. The restaurant also failed to answer their phone, did not have answering service, and did not respond to Instagram or Facebook messages. This app needs substantial improvement to address these faults.
