Please revert to the old app, the new version is terrible. Making me go through different sub categories for each item I want is awful. It's also much slower for some reason.

I ordered Torchy's Tacos and use my birthday free queso and chips reward. however, I accidentally chose the pickup option instead of delivery. I called back to fix my order, the young lady over the phone "Sam" explain to me that if cancel the order and reorder for delivery I will not receive my reward. at this point I'm losing my appetite, and I wanted to just cancel the entire order. instead, Sam insisted that she was on her way out the door, she brought my food all the to my 🏠 off the clock!!
Great food, easy to use app. The rewards seem to take forever to earn though 😅
Love, love, love Torchy's, hate the app! My account is never found when ordering in the restaurant with the QR code scanner. Super inconvenient. We dine here regularly, several times a month. Never received a reward other than our welcome/birthday queso. Have had to do multiple password resets, still no luck. Giving it one more try before giving up for good.
Every month or so, the app stops working and logs me out. When I attempt to log back in it keeps glitching and forces me to reset my password but the new password doesn't work either. Currently, I am still unable to log in with my new password.
I don't know what they did to this app but ever since the major update on Sept 3rd it will NOT load on my phone. Tried completely reinstalling it but no dice. Gotta give it 1 star because there's no reason that an app that does little more than let you order food and tracks reward points is too taxing or is incompatible with any phones, especially ones less than 8 years old. Edit/Update 9/16: It just runs like trash. I timed it with a stopwatch: 2m13s of black screen after the logo. Samsung A50
The app is TERRIBLE as far as the rewards system is concerned. If I order $100 worth of food and the app isn't scanned at the time I pick up the food, I do not receive and rewards credit from my purchase. You cannot go in the app afterwards and add your purchase AT ALL. THIS IS MISLEADING AND FRAUDULENT! The employees won't even use the app because it's so bad.
Had a bad time finding a way to add the birthday queso. I ended up paying for it by accident. Now it's gone of course. I would never have put the button above the the food list in your order. I would have put it at the very bottom near where the dollar amount is going to be is very stupid to put it someplace else. Also you could let me click it when I first see it under rewards and you add it then.
Not safe to use- someone hacked my account and charged over $500 in a matter of days to my credit card on food alone. I'm not a rich person who can afford something like this -your app needs to be more secure. Furthermore I can't contact anyone about this issue. I don't trust using this anymore and do not want credit card information stored, but there is no option to delete cc info? This is an issue that needs to be addressed. Again, in the app there is zero option to actually contact someone.
The App is ok, but I agree with everyone else that the way to earn rewards not being clear to the customer is poor. I would recommend just sticking to the standard point system that most reward apps use. It's clear, concise, and reliable. A drink gives 5, Toco gives 15, etc Having a "behind the scenes" way of gaining points, makes it hard for the customer to even stick with the rewards as they don't know what they are getting and when! Please consider revising the app :)
A recent change has made it impossible to place an order. When attempting to view the order, you'll get a screen with suggested items to add to the cart, but no means to continue to the cart. Closing the popup window does not progress the user to the cart. I'm pretty sure the "continue to cart" button is being rendered off screen somehow. Using a Galaxy S9.
I haven't had any issues or problems with the times I've used the app for my to-go pickup orders at all, so I'm loving it so far! If I did have to say anything negative, it would be about the Rewards program itself. Random rewards are nice, but it'd be cool to add missed check-ins, have a scale of rewards you can earn via the number of visits/transactions or even use a point system or something like that (based on your purchases).
Do not use this app. The store is not setup for it. I ordered 2 burritos and by default it's setup to charge you 15% tip. For who? It was a puck up order. I had to manually change the tip amount to 0. Then when I got to the store there's nobody at the order counter. I look around to see if there's anyplace to pick upmy order. There was none. To make long story short I had to ask around with several staffs before they were able to retrieve my order from the kitchen. What a awkward place
I love torchy's tacos, but the app is pretty bad. The way the app schedules your pickup orders is confusing at best. I had issues with it and while I was waiting for my order there were two other people who came in because they didn't understand what time the app had scheduled their order for. It seems to schedule you sometime 90 minutes in the future. I'm not sure why anyone would use the app versus just going to the restaurant and eating your food before you'd be able to even pick up your food
Starting last week (3/11/2025), I cannot view my cart as the next screen doesn't allow me to decline the additional food suggestions, so I have to go inside the store to place the order instead of ordering through the app, and picking up the order at the selected time. Fix the app, please, and back to 5 stars. Another week goes by and now an error saying, "There was an error!" Uninstalled/Reinstalled, 3/27/2025, but still the same problem.
You have to go back to the same sub menu every single time you add in a new item to your order (Unless ordering more of the same). But if you leave the app to respond to a text mid-order? The entire order resets when you return back. You also have to keep logging in, every single time you open the app. What a chore to order food for something that should be simple and quick! editing later to add in: Now I have to log in every single time I use this app. I've never wanted torchys less.
Cant pay for catering on the app for some unknown reason, so now i have to call the location. Yay. No option to delete or edit payment cards - fail. App adds a month to expiration when month is 2. Payment cards limited to three cards - fail. After three cards have been added, when attempting to pay with a different (fourth) card, the "Place Order" button will turn from red to gray and will not allow the orser to be placed. I should get a gift certificate for finding all these bugs for you.
The restaraunt and food is great. This app isn't. Loyalty program is iffy at best. Payment management on the app is one of the worst I've ever seen. There's no obvious way to remove or edit cards or payment methods (maybe I'm missing it?) so I can't update my card info. None of the payments go through because I have duplicates of cards with different info (zip codes) and there's no way to tell if you're picking the correct card at checkout. It's honestly amazing how bad the payment processing is
It's a functional app, but there are a couple features that would make it MUCH better imo. 1) The option to choose "extra" or "less" on an ingredient. In the same vein, an expandable list of other ingredients to add to an item. Like, I love a grilled baja with brushfire jalapeños but that's not something I can do in the app. 2) add a receipt after purchase if you go to a store or your partner orders and doesn't/can't use your account. I use this often on other apps!
