Tried this app out for a friend and I would get offers via text from time to time but the phone calls are really annoying. Why if I don't reply via text would they think I'm available for a phone call? And there's no way to stop the calls or even remove my phone number from my account! Which leaves me with deleting my account. Imagine getting a full time job and having to delete you're whole reputation on this app for a simple feature like going dark or silent for a while 🥴

They don't stand up for their employees, and they scammed me out of my money. If you're considering using this app, save your time because it's not worth it. They sent me to an instant pay job last Sunday and still haven't paid me. Furthermore it's impossible to contact anyone in the office who can help. Very unprofessional!!! UPDATE≈========> Now they've replied telling me to reach out to them. SMH I've been reaching out for a month now. anyone reading this DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE
Good concept but missing several key items such as there is no way to let them know what shifts/hours you are able to work. Also, every shift I've seen in 2 months is only 1st shift?? So, I've been unable to accept a single shift in 2 months. About to delete the app honestly. Can't make any money here unless you can work 1st shift and i cannot.
Installed & tried setting up an account but I never got the code to confirm my phone#. I uninstalled/reinstalled, issue still there. I even tried using a different email/phone nope. I got stuck at the same screen every time. If you're going to create an app, at least make it work. At least it didn't work during set up & not while I'm waiting to hear back about a job.
So I sign up everything was smooth, until I had to submit the background check. The system tells me my account was not approved. there was some inconsistency with the background check. It's Saturday and apparently, I can't even communicate with a human being. They send you a message and you can't discuss with anyone. The AI bot is useless, just gives you limited options that have nothing to do with what you need. And then it gives you a cookie cutter answer. Zero help.
Job location is non existent. When you go to the "map" it doesn't even show you the job location just some random area where I guess it's supposed to be. Working on temp apps you are expected to be on time and punctual but they don't even list the address in plain english so I am afraid to even book in fear I might not be at the right location and get dinged for it. Rather simple to just list the physical address instead of some non functional map. They don't even list the business name. Weird.
The recruiters hardly reply back. They adjust your pay a week before they adjust everyone else's (probably because I am mexican) and the app is constantly tracking your location which drains battery and constantly sends you texts, notifications, and they call you multiple times each day with the automated calls. They also didn't tell me I only had work for 2 months. They also care more about attendance than the actual company. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS TEMP AGENCY.
I'd give 0 stars if I could. I have not been able to sign up for a single shift because of some error, an error that doesnt even say what the error is, just that there was an error. THEN to top things off there's literally ZERO customer support, it's all pre selected questions and answers and nobody to talk to. WORST contracting app I've been on so far. Signed up last week. Really no room for a detailed resume' as I have plenty experience and great references. No immediate openings and always put on a wait-list. Then an opportunity opened and was scheduled to work a night shift for a certain date. Signed up for a background check and then never was notified yet when I got back on the app I saw that I was booted of the wait list. Also noticed that most jobs you are required to speak Spanish or it's a no go. Thought I lived in America???
It's an ok app, but if you don't have a car, it's impossible to work on this app. you all need to at least inform us a day or two in advance, not in 30 mins, almost an hour away from me. also, some people need to be mentally prepared for a job. People are more reluctant to work when you just spring it on them at the last minute. like I said, it's a good app as far as gig apps go, but the way yall post jobs needs to be changed.
I keep getting no shows for gigs I don't sign up for on the Traba App. I have also been placed on wait lists some how unbenounced to me and have been restricted from the account for 7 day periods. I have only been able to successfully sign up for 1 10 hour shift and complete as assigned so far. However while I was at the worksite the entire time and fulfilled my assignments and duties on time, the App rated me as 78% active while at that assignment. My work was above par & the Supervisor agreed.
Traba makes it easy to pick up flexible work when you need it. I’ve done both light merchandising and more physically demanding shifts. The app is user-friendly, and most companies are decent. If you have any health issues or chronic pain, pace yourself. Some jobs can be hard on your body if done too often. I work a few shifts at a time and balance with lighter ones. Overall, it’s a great option if you know what you can handle.
Absolutely the worst! Never, not even once have there been any available shifts. Not until they call you 5 times in a row at 5am to try and get you to cover somebody else with less than 60 minutes of notice. This has happened consistently over the 30 days that I've been signed up. Do yourself a favor and skip the nightmare that Traba is. Other shift work platforms do a much better job. Choose one of them and save yourself the time and energy you will inevitably waste on this platform.
This app is extremely glitchy and difficult to use. Once you figure out how to jump thru their hoops and actually book work, you have to be careful with the location tracking. They pretty much only do warehouse jobs, and guess what? Nobody has a good signal in a warehouse and the app will sometimes log you out of your shift if it thinks you left the site. So be sure to check in with a supervisor every time you go on break and when you come back. They do pay exactly on schedule
App has multiple errors. Receive a text saying that a shift is available to sign up for, open the app, and the shift isn't there. Their customer service constantly acts like the app doesn't have any issues at all and they refuse to take your complaints seriously. You'll be put on a wait-list and never hear any update regarding the wait-list again. This app is absolutely awful. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Also, you can never speak to a live person on the phone.
Slow to pay and even slower to respond. A check im suppose to get Monday and still haven't gotten it on Friday. With messages sent and ignored everyday. And chats being closed without handling the problem which only gives me more problems on my end. And its clear that they don't care because they're checks are still coming in and they still getting paid. So your problems are your problems. Would not recommend working with this app! no work, you'll just be added to a waitlist, nd never called
No matter what I do, I can not upload a photo to continue creating an account. I am following all of the guidelines and I can not proceed. I've taken multiple photos, tried using photos from my camera gallery and Google photos. Not a single one has gotten through! Very frustrated. A friend highly recommend this app and even sat with me to see if I was doing something wrong. He logged into his account and changed his picture without any problems. I am dumbfounded!!!
Did my first gig and the experience was not as great as I expected! 7 hours into the shift no lunch or breaks in sun & heat with only a bottle of water, litterly felt like I was gonna pass out. Another worker reached out for help and stated nothing they can do since the app did not mention breaks , this app needs a feature to rate jobs like other apps, so you know what you're getting yourself into. app say strip doesn't pay on weekends, I work another app who uses strip pays instant/next day.
The sign up was pretty easy. However, I've had this app for a month and haven't gotten a single offer. I'm really struggling right now and was hoping this app could help turn that around, boy was I wrong. Also, why does Strip have to log in to my bank account every day at 5am, I don't like it and seems kinda suspicious. Hopefully I can find better luck elsewhere. Save yourself the time and struggle, go find another app!
