Reviews for Transact Mobile Ordering

Works well, easy to navigate. takes away the anxiety of ordering.

Is it just me or does this app literally just never work? Everytime I open it it says everything is closed or isn't doing delivery which is wrong. It doesn't matter how many times I reload. I even asked my friend to check to see if it was the same on their phone because I just thought it might have been a phone issue but no it's the same thing. It connected to my student account really well but it seems like a waste when you actually can't even order food from it.

Sometimes you can still place an order when the dining area is closed, so you have to wait several days to get a refund. The app should stop you from being able to place an order.

I think that this app is great! the only drawback is not being able to add gift cards to your payment. Overall, the app is easy to use and makes ordering much faster!

I guess its fine, lots of issues with orders. many options are unavailable when they are inperson. could do alot better

This app is easy to use and is very helpful if you are hungry and want to eat immediately after leaving class. It also helps you skip the lines and the wait sometimes.

Won't show places that are supposed to be open while they're only allowing orders placed online. How about instead of a point system that does nothing we make an app that works. Edit: I wish I could rate less tgan 1 star. This is a terrible app offering terrible service. I order food, my order is different from what I clicked on. I order food, I wait forever for my food to be ready only to find out they stopped accepting orders BEFORE I placed my order through Transact. Get it together please.

Downloaded a while back but used for the first time today. Overall smooth process. Didn't like the notifications about checking in or my order would be canceled. I was in a different building and it took some time for me to make it the QR check in code.

This app is terrible. It'll just randomly not show the options for certain locations even though that location is open and available. No matter how many times you refresh or close the app it will still do this. The places on my campus don't allow you to order in person so this is the only option. It's infuriating when the app does this for no reason.

The app is overall excellent and easy to use, but I took off a star because I recently could not place a mobile order "due to high traffic." They said it should only last for 5 minutes, but even after 20 minutes, I kept getting the same error. I ended up not being able to use the app to order since I was on a tight schedule.

It doesn't list the ingredients in the food so if you have any special diets you won't know. It would also be nice if app said what was vegan and vegetarian because life would be a lot easier. You can't see the ratings of each order which sucks. Some positives, the timing of the app is accurate however "almost ready" can sometimes mean another 15 minutes so if that could be changed to literally 2 minutes away from being almost ready that would be nice. Not horrible but not great.

Attempted to email customer support multiple times using their provided email, each time I'm told it's undeliverable. I payed for an order finished 2 hours after I was told they didn't have the ingredients to make it. Obviously I'm not around to pick up food, that was supposed to be ready in 12 minutes, 2 hours later. Never using this again.

The application is quite brilliant. Linking all university restaurants with a single click of a button. Easy pickups too. The next upgrade should involve customers being able to put in their review. There have been times when I may have not enjoyed the food, but I didn't have the option to select the same. Restaurants can use this feedback from Transact to build a better experience! Just saying!

Okay app for finding and ordering food. Better than in person. Problems I've had are the support button not sending me anywhere (so no refunds), extremely inaccurate wait times (often large underestimates), perpetual loading, and random error messages. I also wish there'd be an option to see locations after ordering, an option to cancel your order (to reduce waste), a downloaded home screen (preventing long loading every use), default tender for JWO markets, and visibility of tomorrow's hours.

A decent option for on-campus dining, but could be better. It integrates well into payment systems, and the home menu's "re-order" is also great for those who just want "the usual." However the rest of the UI is clunky at best. The entire app is nothing but text menus and sub menus. Absolutely no guides, images, or charts to actually show what you're ordering, and a lot of the screen is unused wasted space. Granted these may be issues with my school's deployment, and not the app itself.

Using this app on an Android. Not sure if that is why I had a very challenging time installing it and linking my University ID. I kept getting an error message for weeks that my university username and password was wrong. One day it just finally connected. Don't know how or why. I also can't log out of it & that is really annoying. I just end up "closing" the app when I click on my phone's "close all apps" feature.

Is a great way to order online, I've had no issues with the app and wait times are usually over estimate, so you get your food sooner than expected. The reorder feature is also super handy if you want something multiple times, just select all the details once and then go to thre reorder feature and in 3 clicks you meal is being prepared. Great app, used often.

orders are sometimes completed wrong and nothing is said when order doesn't have everything in it (you're just expected to check yourself and get the refund). These are more issues with the dining hub than the app though. The app has had minimal issues and is incredibly convenient if I want to have food ready after class or for pick up.

I like that you can earn points to eventually redeem $10 to use on your next order. But I don't like how the default is set to CHE Dollars instead of Flex. I don't know how to change this and how when you redeem the $10 you have to use it on your next purchase. It does not seem like I can take it off and wait unti another time.

Easy and simple way to order food on campus with a point system I can use to earn discounts. The omly problem I had was that one time it took 2x longer for my food to be made than it said it would take, but it only happened that one time so overall a very easy to use and convinent way to order food without waiting in line.
