Frustrated. I tried talking to someone in app about being kicked out constantly. That just didn't do anything. The app was updated. Right now I'm uninstalling and reinstalling. I can't stay logged in more than a few seconds. I can't perform any actions. And i can't get good help to fig out why. I'm fed up having to log in constantly on the web or in the app. I'm tired of constantly having to change my password. Im so close to shutting down my account. Not closing out but not using it. Stressed!

Edit: To their credit, the app has gotten better. I haven't followed all the way through with the process, but it does look like I can adjust payment methods in the app now. Cool 👍 you get two more stars for this. The process is still buried behind buttons that don't look like links, though. And I would expect people to get lost looking for it. I think a pretty straightforward "settings" tab would be fantastic. Everyone knows to look for that kind of thing under settings or similar.

After this latest update, I absolutely cannot get into the app. In fact, my husband can't get the 6 digit code until a day later - lot of good that does when it expires after 10min much less 10hrs. I click the app, it sends me to the mobile website which I log into but it won't let me use the app at all and it won't load properly. When I actually try to click the banking, it sends me into an endless loop of going to the app where it freezes. Unsat.

USAA and their app are great as long as you don't need anything. The minute there's an issue, it takes ages to get sorted out. Getting to an actual person in chat requires making your way through a persistent and useless "virtual assistant". Options are hidden behind a ridiculous number of buttons and options. And customer service isn't what it used to be either. At this point, I'm looking at changing banks and insurance providers.

A great service organization for insurance, credit cards, and banking services. Excellent rates and fantastic customer service. USAA has helped me in several emergencies (auto accidents). Also, their app is ready to use. I track my expenses, pay bills, and receive life and car insurance updates and policies thru the app. One of the best companies I've ever worked with ... now for over thirty years.

Always thought USAA was 5 stars because of their customer service and flexible ATM policies. But limiting Zelle transactions to $1000 forced me to go elsewhere for a direct payment app. Very disappointing. Plus my insurance premiums are getting so high I have to start considering changing to another company. After 38 years, its not something I want to do.

The app itself is quite fine, as I've never really run into any issues with the actual main app. But the reason for giving two stars is simply because the widget of this app is absolutely terrible. Every few days I run into issues with the widget where it simply won't refresh and will give a message saying, "Sorry, there's no information available right now. We'll be back soon." This happens just about every few days, to the point where I would have to remove the widget and newly re-add it.

Love the company when not buying things online. The cc confirmation of orders online to my home never works, multiple retailers, when shipping to my home. Always technical difficulties. Getting a card elsewhere, three years of grief is enough. USAA should have figured it out. same retailers, I can use the card in person. I authorize things in the app as requested, transactions always messed up by leaving to deal with USAA app.

Notifications haven't worked for decades. When using Verified By Visa for purchases, I receive the push notification, but when I click on it, I get "we are expecting technical difficulties." If I log in to the app first, then click on the push notification, same result. When I look in "Inbox" and then "Notifications", no mention of the push notification I just received. I also never receive any fraud push alerts or notifications that my credit card has been blocked. Painfully frustrating!

The app is pretty awful except for the most basic things. Pretty absurd and time consuming. They need to fix their app. Period. Update: the app still sucks but it's because it doesn't work the way their emails say. An email will say,"Just do this to download your auto card to Google Wallet" but it doesn't/can't actually do that. USAA misinforms customers about their own mobile app. SMH.

This app is a mixture of good and horrible! It is easy to use when everything is cleared, and it is just new items pending. Then, you can subtract all of the new items one after another. However,once it gets to be a mixture of pending and cleared items, then it is horrible as you have to scroll all over the place to figure out your balance!! And sometimes, lately, I have had to pick out the closest balance along the way and either add or subtract from my balance on my calculator on my phone

I like the app in quite a few ways; however, why give customers the option of being able to edit the description and categories of transactions if it doesn't save onto our bank statements? I'm sure I can't be the only person who is disappointed that they went through the trouble of organizing transactions for tracking, tax purposes, etc. only to find out that they wasted their time. *sigh* I would like to be able to permanently track my expenses. Thank you.

I don't know why you have to always change things & it makes it harder & harder to pay my bills the way I need to. I can't pay my renters & car insurance separately now. I'm forced to pay altogether, which doesn't work for my budget. They are charging you a fee for paying your bill manually. If you don't want that fee, then you HAVE to set up automated payments. Since when is there a penalty for paying a bill early? Well, USAA charges you a penalty. It's getting worse & worse with each update.

I used to be able to use mobile deposit on my phone, then it stopped working. I'd get a message saying it's unavailable. I called usaa they had an it ticket submitted to try and fix the problem. The solution they offered me was to use another device. Or deposit differently. they did not offer anyway to remedy the problem. I find this solution lazy and unacceptable. I've been a member for 8 years and am now reconsidering who I bank with. I have all permissions on, uninstalled and reinstalled.

There's an update literally every time I open the app. Constantly changing and moving things around. Navigating on the app is unnecessarily complicated. Transactions take a week for no reason sometimes. You're not warned that the process for an automatic payment is taken out days before the actual payment date. You can't reschedule any payments the day before, which is incredibly stupid. I don't see any transactions for this until a few days after the payment date, too. Ridiculous.

USAA is the best bank. Their app is so easy to use and I can do anything on it - pay bills, Zelle, check balances, do transfers, get quotes, set up new insurance, etc. I have only had a disruption on the app once in 8 years. I literally love USAA. They're phenomenal. The only thing I don't like is trying to deposit cash, which has nothing to do with the app. The app is perfect.

I've been using USAA for over 20 years. I paid my credit card off in full and the money disappeared from my bank account two days ago. However, my credit card shows a zero balance, but hasn't freed up the available credit. This means they're using my money interest-free. Amazing how I can buy a vehicle with my credit card and the charge goes through immediately. When I send them money, takes them forever to say that they have my money, even though i can see the money missing from my other bank.

Usually works well, but now I have to log in every time and it won't let me toggle the widget access, even after closing out the app and restarting my phone. Edit, new issue in addition to previous issue, my current device model is listed on the trusted device list, however it also says that my current device isn't a trusted device. I have been using the app on this device for three years and just suddenly it is an issue.

Absolute trash app. I can't use it for transactions, or even log in, because it wants the 6 digit email code every single time. Every time I tab to my email to get the code, the page resets immediately, I have to start all over, and I'm left in a neverending cycle of FUBAR. The only other verification method, on the app, is through the app? Literally none of this makes sense and I couldn't even complete a transaction because of this bogus verification.

The app used to be really easy and fast to use and access what I needed. Now the options for MFA during sign in do not always work. I can't access the 6 digit code on the app to sign in because I haven't signed in yet. For whatever reason, I don't always receive codes that are texted to me. On top of log in taking forever, notifications pop up as soon as I'm in, further distracting me from what I opened the app to do. I'd like to never see "do you want to allow notifications?" ever again.
