Used just a little so far. Very appreciative of this app! Updating my review: I have used this app for some time now and it does everything I could ask. I'm not an audiophile, but it has options for recording quality, naming files, and other things that make it a very versatile and useful app The sound recording quality is very good

1st time use. very easy to stop & start recording. playback was high quality. I'm using samsung A25, I couldn't find the other supported operations, option to name, send, as the app store indicates. I still highly! recommend & will use it often. Without anything else (I'll keep looking & update) It's a- no session time limit, easy to use, powerful Voice Recorder app.. Exactly what I was looking for, I recommend you try it you'll be impressed too.

I've been using this app for years to record my piano hobby. It definitely catches every little sound in the room though, including my breathing as I play, the pedal of the piano, someone walking across the room, etc 🤣 . Great quality but I wish there was a way to make an account you could save the recordings to. I'm not very tech-savvy and so I lose all my recordings when I get a new phone 🤣🥲

Best voice recording app by far, you can lock your phone, talk on the phone, mess around with your phone and the app will record all the sounds and the ads are not intrusive at alll. Numerous times, I've forgotten I was recording and recorded for like 3 days... Oh and the recording quality is great for what I use it for, I've never tried to record music or anything, so I can't really speak on that.

I'm in situations, all too often, that would require a recording device. Whether it be for legal reasons, clarity on an argument or a grocery list... I now have the app that has become my new fav. I just downloaded it and I've used it once already before reading any material about functions, capabilities and operations. It was easy to use and I imagine it getting easier after I read up on the app and a couple more uses. So far....so good!

Great app, but needs tweaks. I wish it wouldn't save EVERY TIME. I have been using this app to practice speaking Japanese. I don't want it to save every time. I hit stop. Shouldn't save until I choose to. Also, I wish it wouldn't pick up so much background noise. AND I wish you could increase or decrease the volume you record at. Otherwise, it's great :) Just shy of 5 stars.

I've been using the app for a little bit over a year now and I'm still having some issues. Almost every recording has 5-10 seconds of botched audio where it sounds like it speeds up and also cuts out every other word. It's very frustrating because it happens more than once in every recording 😔 I might have to try out another app :(

I JUST downloaded this app and created one audio file. Then, I was asked to rate the app and was not given the option to "ask me later." This is annoying. Please add the option "ask me later." I did appreciate reading the clear justifications given for the various permissions settings that I would be presented with. I have never seen that in an newly installed app. So I said, "Yes," to all. Otherwise I would have said no.

This is a solid voice recorder, that does what it needs to do without any unnecessary frills or complexity. The sound quality is good, and I've never had it glitch or distort. It saves recordings automatically, and I've never had one disappear on me. I'm not sure what more one could ask for from a voice recorder.

this app did what I needed it to. I was going to a concert that I needed to review for a college class. I wanted to record the songs so I could listen to them later as I was writing my "review". the app was extremely simple to navigate to both record and name each file, and it was simple to find and relisten to them afterwards. great experience.

This app is ready to manage and send recording files. I was using another similar app, and it crashed and stopped allowing files to download. In searching for a new app, I found this one. so far, it has worked great. sometimes, the ads get in the way and force you to click on them while trying to save our rename your file, but I get why they are there.

Not sure what to rate it, it's not usable, I can't save files to SD card. I'm sure it works otherwise, but not if you require storage on external SD card or cloud. having an option to locate where you need to store files does seem elementary, so that's why the low rating. maybe if they fix that, I can change the rating.

Quality of recordings is good. My only problem with the app is the audio visualizer. A lot of the time I use it when I wake up because I have an idea or a dream I want to record. The problem is the brightness/color of the visualizer. The flashing brightness while I'm recording is a little off-putting, almost seizure inducing if the user has epilepsy. So, if there was a way to change the color, style, or just to turn it off while recording would help. Otherwise it's been pretty good so far.

I've been using this app for exams in which our singing must be recorded. In both exams mid recording the file glitched out in some manner I'm not fully understanding. It sounded like a hot mess, luckily this time I asked my partner to record the audio as well. An audio recording device that doesn't function correctly half of the time is complete and utter trash. Thanks for nearly giving me a bad grade.

I love this app except for 2 things: 1. It sometimes shuts off mid recording and you don't know it stopped until you've already missed what you wanted. This happens on multiple devices. 2. I can't find a way to change the default save folder. It saves in a folder inside the Music folder. Every time my music player scans the Music folder it adds these to it's library. I have to either manually remove them or move them to a different folder manually before scanning.

I am really enjoying this app so far. My husband and I are musicians and also sing, and we agree that this is a great app. Even if you aren't tech-savvy or musical. It's easy to navigate, and it's great for notes or ideas or reminders to self. I, personally aren't tech-savvy, and I use this app like an O.G.! People actually think I know what I'm doing! It has decent to more than decent sound quality and sensitivity. Thanks for a great app that even all us lazy potheads can use it! LOL!

I've used this app for years for all kinda of simple recording purposes. All the sudden now it will stop recording sound several minutes in and just return silence, despite the "recording" notification still displaying. I can't find any correlation between screen being on/off, app running in the background/foreground, etc. It just stops recording sound, and there's no way to know until after. Super bummer, I lost several interviews because of this

The recorder seems to work very well, and is very easy to start, stop, and play saved recordings. I found the process simple. The developer addressed my previous concern about permissions. I believe the app keeps running after it has been stopped and closed, and may serve up advertising after using it. A reboot will stop the app after using.

Excellent, sharp recording! The background music, from the TV which was more than feet away, was clearly heard. The voice of the person, singing the words to the song, was about 3 feet away. Excellent sound of him too. I believe this would be excellent for recording a meeting, for example, because of the great sound from the TV more than 12 feet away. This was the first time I have used this app. I AM impressed! I would highly recommend this app for your voice recording needs. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

When recording, it makes the recording sound as close to what it did in real life as possible, which is something I didn't see with the other apps I tried. It keeps ads to a minimum, and makes it easy to see your recordings and differentiate between them. The only thing that would make it better for me is the option to add filters or voice changers to the recording, but over all, it's a very good app!
