Image quality is superb and hands down beats the competition (Ring etc). The option to store data locally on SD means I'm in full control of my images & videos. One small annoyance that makes this a 4 and not a 5 star review is that sometimes when the doorbell rings, the Android call notification won't stop, even after answering through the app. Fix this and it's 5 stars from me.

Keep being logged out from my account after the most recent update. The consistency of this doorbell is just meh. It would've been great if the firmware was built properly. But everytime there's an update, there's something else you have to fix. To name a few, there're battery problems, connection problems, and now staying logged in seems to be a problem too. Please fix this soon, whenever it works, it's actually not bad.

It's obvious that the software app at launch was a Beta version at best. If the developers were honest about this I could deal with it, but they keep churning out new features like Alexa integration, even when the basics don't work. It's very hit or miss as to whether it connects. I just added my wife (who has an iPhone) and it can't cope..you accept the call on the Android and it keeps ringing on the iPhone!!!! Please sort the basics out then add the eye candy extras!!!

Real life operation shows variable performance; movement is captured and is clear both day and night, but often a direct visit to the doorbell and the return away from it goes totally unnoticed by the doorbell. It could be app related or hardware related, I'm not sure. The app also very often does not function when answering the doorbell, in fact it has never yet worked for me, I simply cannot answer the "call". I have the latest app & software and multiple re-installs have never solved this.

I have this camera since summertime, and both the doorbell camera and base had to be replaced already, yet it's still not functioning properly. Since everything was replaced, the only thing left is the app. It seems the app is not working well, keeps telling me no devices connected, but they are, or that the signal is lost, but it hasnt been. The only positive feedback i have is that the customer service is very prompt. They offered replacement right away. So this rating is for the app.

Great when it works! I've had so many problems with this Doorbell App. I finally got it working (again) on my husband's phone, but I CANNOT get it working on mine, even though I go through the settings and we are set up exactly the same. It will work, then stop working, then work again and stop again. VERY FRUSTRATING. I'm still within the timeframe to return it, which is probably what I'll do!

Horrible. Keep getting playback error. Will not play video. Useless. It has now been three weeks and I still unable to view anything from the doorbell on my LG phone. I have been going back and forth with WUUK tech support (China) and the tech, Linda Z?, keeps telling me to do the same things over and over. There seems to be a language barrier. I have requested a shipping label and a refund 3 times and they refuse to acknowledge me. BUYER BEWARE!!!

UPDATE: I initially left a bad review because the app kept crashing, but I stuck with it deciding to give it another go and finally got it to work. I'm glad that I did because I really love the hd, crystal clear wide view, how easy it is to operate and ease of placement (it sticks very tight and securely anywhere). I haven't had anymore issues since completely setting it up. I'll watch it for another week or so and if all goes well, I plan to purchase another 1 to 2 of their doorbell cameras.

The nightmare I've gone through trying to get this app up and running is NUTS! It's still not working after 4 days and MANY emails to a company that only operates after hours when I'm in bed. I get up at 5 am. So them responding to my email at 3 am is rediculous. I can't even delete and reconnect devices because I can't see the app screen. Not to mention, that not seeing rhe app screen is a new issues since the other 7 issues I've had. Not a happy customer.

Another security camera company jumping on the nickel and dime the customer by putting features behind a paywall for something you SHOULD get on purchasing the cameras!(No vehicle detection unless you pay👎not sure if any other "features" are as well)also camera has a light but can only have it on/off,no option to have it come on with movement!really! Such an obvious thing NOT to include that as an option🙄edit: This app will run in the background even when you turn off the option 2 do that!

The app doesn't give me a notification if someone is at my door. Haven't been able to respond to the doorbell. I just have to go pull up the app and refresh a few times, then maybe I can see what the dog was barking about earlier. Now it's only showing things from five days ago. It worked for a bit initially, but is very inconsistent and inconvenient. Going to charge it and see if that helps at all.

looks like wuuk doesn't care or read my reviews. First my app fails to load my camera and I have 3 camera. I can't see any of them even though the base and cameras are all online and working. It just started happening today in the morning it does not load any of the cameras in the app. Next there is no option to increase the volume on doorbell or the cam pros. It has speakers I don't know why they don't have the volume option. Please acknowledge and fix these issues as soon as possible.

ANSWER: Why 2 weeks to get an answer? Needless to say I'm not happy. How can I update the firmware when it won't connect to the internet? I need a new Ringer or complete kit. The WUUK stopped working after recharging it twice within 3 weeks. So much for the battery lasting 6 months. Support hasn't replied with help for more than a week. Something is obviously faulty but they won't stand behind their product. Don't waste your time or money on this doorbell camera that had great promise.

Will no longer work with Google even though I've followed all the steps to try to fix it. Also, it won't allow me to use the WUUK app notifications so I can distinguish between a alert from the cameras from a regular alert from text messages, etc. The app, like the cameras, are very glitchy. At times I will click to play a video recorded by the camera & get frequent error messages that won't allow playback. I won't be buying WUUK devices, again. Also, time is only GMT? I'm in PT zone!

(Note that I'm rating app+device here.) Setup a bit unconventional, took a few tries to make it work. Seems to do most everything that other remote/video doorbell devices do, but no subscription (yay!). Could use a point-able camera, not all doorbell locations have a good video angle. Now after using it for a year and a half, it's still working fine (although I had to tweak the parameters to get optimal battery life). User interface is ok, but the use model is a bit unconventional.

Device and app don't do half the things promised. Development is taking way too long, and now, even with cloud storage turned off, I can't access local storage recordings older than two days. Also, the advertised "free chime" is not really that. It is a required base station for the doorbell, so even if you have robust WiFi at the doorbell, it makes no difference if the CHIME is not in range of the doorbell. Company also won't tell me how to delete my account and data from their servers.

I've been using an indoor camera to monitor my dogs through wuuk for a few years. Always easy to use and works great. Recently however, an update in the past year forces me to turn on the app's notifications in order to access my camera feed at all. I do not need constant "motion detected" notifications on my phone. The only way around this is to turn on notifications right before I view the camera, then turn them off again after I close the camera. Very frustrating and a waste of time.

I have the wired doorbell. The app works fine but the Google integration doesn't. Impossible to stream live on my Google nest hub. It worked once and never again. I tried everything possible, have been in contact with support for some help but couldn't get it to work. I would recommend the products and the app if you are not planning on integrating it in a smart home set up. If you do, there are better options elsewhere.

buffering...reload app. buffering... something went wrong. reload app...works! App works well enough, but after a notification, it never ever connects to the camera for live view. Can't usually answer the doorbell call as it just says that something went wrong. Wuuk servers must just be trash. the cameras are ok and the app is decently laid out. Need an "all camera" alarm so all 8 cameras will siren alarm at the same time. If I didn't already spend a lot of money on 9 cameras...

The app is generally good. I haven't had major issues with it and I received good customer response when I needed it. The one thing I'd say could use some work is the scheduling aspect. Having scheduling in a different tab (security) than the camera isn't intuitive at all, and setting it up was confusing and required some trial and error with getting it to do what I wanted. It would be much better/simpler/more accessible to just have individual scheduling on each camera in my opinion.
