So here's my honest take on Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner. I've tested a bunch of health and nutrition apps, and this one's pretty solid. The barcode scanning works well and the product ratings seem pretty accurate based on my own research. I like that it covers both food and beauty/personal care items. The level of detail is great if you really wanna dive into the nitty-gritty of what's in your products. But it can also feel a bit overwhelming if you just wanna do a quick check. Overall though, it's a handy tool to have if you care about what you're putting in and on your body.

Description

Been using Yuka – Food & Cosmetic Scanner for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you scan barcodes on food, beauty, and personal care products to see how healthy they are. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.

Here’s what you do: just open the app, point your camera at a product, and it’ll analyze the ingredients and give you a score from fantastic to poor. There’s also a detailed info page for each product that breaks down the nutrition, additives, and organic content. Took me a while to figure that part out but it’s actually super useful.

Look, if you’re into making healthier choices with what you buy, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the database doesn’t have every single product out there – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.

The App itself is very nice. Great UI. The only thing that I don't like, is that when you're looking to see what is in a product, it doesn't state...
