Don't get me wrong, I love this game so much, but it's got too many glaring problems to overlook. For starters, your progress in the free version does not transfer to the paid version. Makes no sense to me, as I wanted to get some good time in on the free one before I decided to put my money down. Multiple skill trees don't work properly, such as the soul heart one, the rune that gives your character soul hearts and increases the soul heart maximum, and more. Hopefully fixes come with time.

3 stars because while the game itself is really good and I would recommend it, the version is DRASTICALLY outdated compared to the Steam version. Once you beat Darkness 15 there is literally 0 reason to do it again unless you just want to do it with all characters and guns. You gain nothing out of it. You unlock nothing. That's it, you beat the game. We don't even have relics on this version. Devs need to update this.

Good as free game. The paid version gives you nothing extra. You get a starting skill and extra life in the free version. Paid version gives you a flash ofa selection screen for your starting skill then disappears, so not sure if that's a glitch? So feeling a little cheated out of money. Game needs a infinite mode and some more diversity. The same mobs over and over gets dull. All that aside it is as advertised. Addicting, fun, and Zen inducing. Would recommend free version 5 stars. Paid-1star

Really solid base game. There's only one level and one set of bosses and you do them all in the same orde every time. You can buy all of the upgrades long before you finish clearing the 15 difficulties. Weapons and characters are incredibly unbalanced. Grenade launcher FTW. Every game devolves into the same build regardless because you get so many levels you get all of the powers, though there is some variation in getting started. 100% Achievements in 3 days. 3/5 but everyone should play this.

This game is alright. It could be a lot better if they'd update it so it somewhat resembles the PC version. The PC version has multiple guns that aren't in this version. I believe there is a character or 2 missing from this version. I could handle all of that, but the 2 things that irk me the most are, there isn't an endless mode and they havent added the blade weapon on this version of the game; and I believe the blade weapon has been available on PC for at least a year.

I really like this game, but its not enough. I find myself getting all of the same upgrades with very little variation aside fron particular options depending on the gun I have. I played the free version for a bit and the first run I did on the paid version gave me some kind of crown but since then I have never encountered it. Its a fun game with neat designs and a good game loop, but the low variation of options for upgrades means that it wont be long before I put this game down.

Several key differences between free and this one, and I don't like this paid one as much as the free one: No checking in bonus, no ads to get free upgrades at the start of a round, you cannot run out of the barrier created by the charging deer thing, in the free version you can but still get damaged for it, this one you can't run out of it at all. Lots of the text is just in Arial font and not stylized to the game at all like the text in the free version is. Please fix all these issues then 5*

This is a great port from PC! I've enjoyed hours on the PC port and am excited that I can enjoy the game on the go. Some reviews say the controls are bad. The controls are solid and pretty standard mobile twin stick shooter. If you game on mobile it'll take a few to get used to. If you don't enjoy rogue lite games this may not be for you. If you do; you'll love it!

Absolutely breathtaking Tesla vs Lovecraft rogue like game! Had to buy the paid version to support this dev! I am wondering about something however. Before, I could resurrect through an ad. Now when your dead your just "dead" I was really hoping that you would include one free rebirth and keep the "option" to watch ads for an additional life. It kinda seems like I'm being penalized for choosing to support you. In any case. Thanks for a fantastic adventure! Gotta go. Need to level up again!

I initially gave this 5 stars, but dropped it to 4. It's a very fun game, and took me a number of runs to beat the first time. Problem is, I've had it for 48 hours, and I'm already done. I best it several times now. There is no more content - what you see in the 20 minute run is all there is. Definitely needs more content, different modes, something! Because otherwise it doesn't take long to beat it and be done.

I wouldn't say this game is the best there is, but it's definitely a rarity to have a mobile game this good. My only real complaint, and it's a big one, is how difficult it is to get the pacifist achievement purely because of the size of the skill button. It's not a problem on the pc version, so it shouldn't be on this version either. If we could get an option that either let us turn firing off entirely or change the skill button size, that would be much appreciated.

Having pain for the full version I expected it would at the very least be a little bit behind the PC version but it is missing entire parts of the game... no endless mode that I can see, missing two characters from what I can see, and some other skill and elements. I feel a little gypped since I paid the same price as the one that is on PC and got less. Very disappointing. I would have bought the PC one instead and now I am stuck or I can fork out more money.

fantastic game, one of the best bullet heavens. multitudes more engaging than any other i've played as well as having a dark but charming art style which i love. the replayability is lacking though, would love to see a scaling darkness level, endless mode, boss rush, or something of that nature to mix it up. some fresh characters, weapons, & power-ups could also be nice. definitely worth the buy

Game is fun until you've done everything there is to do, unlocked all characters, weapons, upgrades, and have increasingly more currency because there's nothing left to spend it on. Even endless mode becomes boring after you become so powerful that enemies didn't even appear on screen anymore. But any game that makes me play it beyond completion is worth 5 stars. I think it's time for a sequel.

Very well made, extremely replayable, it is definitely worth $3.00 or more. There is a problem with the crossbow where you can't charge it, but it's useful for the miniclip synergy and various other things that require reloading. one thing to note, I cannot aim with a controller, I can move and shoot, but no aiming

There is no indicator that a boss fight is about to start besides the time limit but I'm not gonna look at the time all the time. I hate the barrier bosses have especially since the minions stay around it means you get cornered and stuck way too easily. Also there is no reason to not use ths sword or prioritize speed because staying still is the worst thing to do in this game.

I was really excited when I saw they added an endless mode back in to the game. Unfortunately, you don't get to use any of your meta-progression and it's basically just a boss rush, not an actual endless mode. Would love to see them add an option in regular mode were you can keep going after hitting 20 minutes and unlock the ability to take multiple upgrades after that point. Have a boss every 3-5 minutes, not the steadily increasing frequency of the newest mode. I want to relax, not stress.

Originally played it on PC, I was surprised to find it on mobile. Controls can be a bit wonky in responsiveness due to the dead zone. Not sure I like how big the movement and shooting circle indicators are because they take up a big part of the screen. I wish I could reduce the size. Aside from that, still a fun game. Just as good as the pc version

This game is actually good! I held off from buying it because of the overall look that some would call "stylized". That said, this game has a lot to offer; after a bit of trial and error and some effort, you can unlock characters, abilities, perks and cosmetics etc. Well worth the asking price if you enjoy the rogue survival genre imo.

The combat itself is great, and the semi-monochrome colors are great for visibility in vamp-likes, to distinguish enemy attacks. However, the gun variety, character variety, and especially the skill tree are all very basic. The way bosses are designed makes you forced to always invest in movement speed, which feels very restrictive. And not having saves is annoying, especially for endless mode. There are a lot of skins you can use with in game currency, but that's all useless.
