Certainly a fun and satisfying game, except for one thing - the dash button doesn't work half the time. The button visually responds, but no dash. Spamming the button leads to randomly using up all dashes, but when you really need it, for some reason it doesn't work.
Reviews for Bounty Of One: Premium
← Back to Bounty Of One: PremiumI absolutely love this game. I played until everything was unlocked. I would have gladly given 5 stars but I literally got up today, turned the game on, and all saved data had been erased somehow, where all achievements and black market purchases had been wiped. a way to fix this would be amazing as it should have saved to my cloud but did not.
Its baffling that only Vampire Survivors got this right. The game will punish you for progressing because it'll unlock more and more useless items that will clutter your selection. So good luck trying to gather some build you have in mind and playing for 15 minutes only for key object never to appear - super rewarding and fun. Add reasonable fixed price banishing rerolls / points which you can spend to banish some items from the drop with no cap. Some want to keep rolling the dice - i do not.
The game on my phone is too small with no options to adjust the UI scale. Don't mind having to stop moving to shoot but having fixed movement/boost makes the game difficult to play. I tried swapping them and neither were comfortable. I would keep taking damage or dying after selecting a level-up or chest reward, and after two very short runs I just couldn't get behind this title. I'd add two stars and try it again if the UI sizecould be increased, but it's so small at the moment.
full with bugs, rotating shields work 50% of the time (not blocking the fire proj) health on level-up does not work most of the time... and don't get me started on the stop to shoot... Died when the game was paused in Daily Struggle event... STAY away from this game as it is full with bugs!!! not worth your money... this game should be free with all it's bugs and problems.... releasing a game with so many bugs is just asinine...
One of the best roguelike survival games available on mobile. Good difficulty scaling (at the start, I'm only 10/40 at the moment), and decent build variety. The only reason I'm not giving 5* is that there's a lack of variety. there's only one main boss, and 2 sets of 2 pre-bosses. Normal enemies come in 3 variations, with very slight differences. There's different characters to select, but the only difference is their starting item, which isn't unique. worth the list price nonetheless
play pass breaks the game. if you have play pass, and let the subscription run out, you can never play the game again with playpass on that device. works on other devices, just not the one you initially downloaded on. no option to purchase game either with playpass enabled. sucks, had 20 infamy on various characters, was my go to time killer game. would be five stars, but putting at one in hopes the devs see this and are able to rectify the issue so it doesn't happen to anyone else.
Idk why this game is rated so high. It certainly isn't worth $5. Especially since they sell you dlc right after buying. It is nothing like vamp surv or brotato, and I do NOT mean in a good way. Game is very generic. There only 1 character and 1 load out you can use to win. Everything is extremely small, youll never be able to see the whitty convos the devs boast about. Very monotonous w 0 replay. Only worth $1 max. The worst part is you have to stop moving to shoot. ITS ROGUELITE U NEED MOVE!!
This is a game on mobile, not a mobile game. Well worth the money! The gameplay itself is fun, has nice progression within each round and overall unlocks, unique character designs, just a solid game! Dev, can you please adjust the dash button to be larger or something? I thoroughly enjoy this game, the only problem I've had is missing the dash button. I'm not sure if its just me, but I would appreciate it.
Fun game but some somethings definitely need changed or added. The two biggest being: 1. It needs an endless mode. Not having it makes no sense and it makes the runs feel to similar because you don't get enough time to really get into a build. 2. The wooden borders around the screen are annoying. I've lost plenty of runs because I accidentally touch the edge of the screen and it joystick won't read because of it.
Very fun and challenging game! I love all the unique types of builds you can end up making. The touch screen controls are difficult, though. I swapped to a controller and it made the game a lot easier. Also, the text font size throughout the game is way too tiny to read on a phone. Aside from those two issues, the game is amazing and I highly recommend it.
This game has a lot of potential, and it really is fun. I do have a problem with the mobile version being different from the PC version. Mobile does not have an endless option, mythic grade upgrades never pop up, as well as some other minor differences. Also, the more objects you unlock it seems, the worse your chest rewards are. I used to draw good objects, but now they're almost always common, and often the same objects. Overall mobile seems like an unnecessarily nerfed version
another super fun bullet heaven "survivor" game. this one is an easy recommendation. quick update: having gotten to infamy 10, and am now dabbling in the dlc... yeah... i love this game lol. its now my favorite mobile game. and is now, A MUST PLAY! the daily challenge on top the main mode and its... night mode... with the dlc is a perfect package. very VERY MUCH a, "wait... let me try that again... i... i know where i messed up!" game loop that absolutely works!
I'm surprised I dont like this more. Bosses feel easier than the waves. Text isn't scaled for mobile, so character sheets are hard to read. It's a lot of dying over and over to running into enemies or not seeing projectiles. definitely a better game on other platforms, but mobile? Kind of a a big miss. 3☆ for being a good game, but a mediocre port.
The characters/stats are definitely not the same as the PC version and the tuning seems harder...which, doesn't make much sense to me. I feel like it should either be the same as the base game or easier...not harder. For instance, the first character you get one shots mobs in the beginning of the base game, not the case in mobile. Also, the first character doesn't natively increase attack speed while standing still...so he does less damage and doesn't get the attack speed perk...?
Very fun game. Only thing stopping it from 5 stars is there is no endless mode. This feature needs to be added! edit: hasn't been updated in a while. still no endless mode. replayability isn't really there with no endless mode once you have completed highest difficulty with all characters. it is fun but isn't worth the cost if you're paying for the full game (since they do have an endless mode for steam version)
Some text, especially character descriptions, are extremely small. A text size option would be great; along with an option to turn of vibrations. Also, the controls feel slightly clunky; movement just feels like it is slightly off from where I want to go, I don't whether that's an issue with joystick location (even without it being fixed, it still tries very hard to stay in place when possible), or if it a response issue. Overall though, it's a very fun game.
it's a really fun game, but there is currently a game breaking bug where inputs are sometimes not accepted, sometimes when I hit the dash button to dodge an attack, the button will animate like I pressed it, but my character will not dodge. additionally, sometimes the music and sound effects will turn on even with all of the sound settings set to 0 in the game, I will then have to turn the volume up and then back down to fix it.
pros!: great art, fun gameplay, lovely music. cons!: not a ton of replay or sustained interest after unlocking characters/download content, super tiny text that's super hard to read on mobile (I had to screenshot to read some of the text). all in all, I really enjoyed the time I spent playing, but there's not a big enough hook to keep playing at this stage. amazingly good work though, and I absolutely adore the fantasy/d&d meets western aesthetic choice.
Actually Fun! Still play it. Play Pass is great on this one, was worth the try. Slightly different from others of it's type, at least to me. The mechanic of only attacking when standing still, made it different. I've got 4 of these on my phone in the last year, this is in my top 2. I've spent Hours on it, bought out most of the store with points earned in game. It's fun, characters make going through fun and interesting. Differing boards as well. Play Pass rating: Worth your time!
