Been playing Candy Critters: Idle Merge for a couple months now. It’s basically an idle/merge game where you recruit and level up these adorable little Chomplet creatures to help you clear away candy obstacles and reveal hidden treasures. Sounds kinda simple but it’s actually pretty addicting.
Here’s what you do: You start with a few Chomplets and use them to clear out candy blocks. As you clear more, you can recruit new Chomplets and merge the same ones to make them stronger. And there’s also some progression where you can upgrade your Chomplets and unlock new areas to explore. It’s got a nice progression loop that keeps you coming back.
Look, if you’re into casual idle games, you’ll probably like this one. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying if you don’t pay. But overall it’s a solid time-waster that looks cute and runs well. Worth checking out.

The core gameplay loop is super satisfying, and I love the cute, polished art style. It's got a ton of strategic depth with all the Chomplet upgrades and merging, but it never feels overwhelming. Where some of these games can get repetitive, Candy Critters mixes things up enough to keep you coming back. Not gonna lie, the ads can be a bit much, but you can pay to remove them. Overall, it's a really solid casual game that I'd recommend to anyone looking for an addictive time-waster.
