The game is experiencing a significant number of mistouches, which has resI've been encountering quite a few mistouches in the game lately, and it's become a bit frustrating. 😩 I'd estimate these accidental inputs have cost me around four or five matches so far. It's disheartening to lose games due to something like this. I'm hoping the developers can address this issue and improve the touch accuracy. 🤞 Hopefully, the next update will bring a fix!ulted in approximately four to five lost games.

love this app. one thing that would be really cool is to have a two-player feature where you have one phone or tablet between two people and they play on the same device, bringing the digital experience that little bit closer to playing on a real board. the tricky bit would be making the pieces look good from both ways so that one person doesn't have to look at them upside down

This is a well made game ruined by players. Lately, the majority of games I've played end up with my opponent abandoning the game the moment they realize they are in a losing position. I don't mean resigning, I mean either just leaving the game resulting in the abandon timer running down, or in the worst cases, keeping the game active but not doing anything, hoping I'll leave first so that they will win. I once had to wait over 8 minutes for the timer to run out while my opponent did nothing!

I am on an Android phone playing chess for fun a lot, and It's great with only a few problems. First, I can't play all the variants (only Chess960), meaning I can't get that many achievements. Second is overall lagginess, but that might be just my phone.

great app. I just hate the change they made that makes that awful annoying sound when the king is in check and you touch any other piece. I like having sounds enabled in the game but not that annoying fart sound with the king in check. please let us disable that. just a flashing red square is enough of a reminder for me.

I want to report that your abandon rules are terrible. I play chess on my phone and in the middle of the game (just after I lost a piece so I was down only 3 points) I got a text. I took less than a minute to respond to them and come back and I lost. This is rediculous. There is no way it should ever abandon in under 2 minutes. Life goes on while games are happening and sometimes one must for a VERY BRIEFLY step aside to take care of personal things. I feel cheated o

Just 1 star to highlight some key issues that should have been solved already. 1. Bot games are not automatically saved 2. If you review the game and then save it afterwards, you can not review it again on the more advanced analysis, but if you save and then review you can. This makes the chessup2 board less appealing due to the fact games against bots aren't saved automatically and therefore can't be reviewed on chessup2 which is supposed to have "integration"

Great for learning but when playing bots it would better (in my opinion) if you could do take back on the last move rather than it ending the game completely so you can learn from your mistake and replay it so you can try a different move, I'm very new to chess and often end in a draw or get check mated without seeing it coming and although you can review the game and see where you went wrong I think it would help me at least to be able to take back the game ending move and continue.

What happened to game reviews?! The new version is awful. Absolutely horrible experience, and it's so jarring to use it now. Wish I could install the old version. Smh. Puzzles are also still really buggy and often freeze (every 3-4 puzzles). I do puzzles way more than games, so it's a huge issue for me. Paying 120/yr, I expected better. I cancelled premium and wow, the experience is absolutely awful as a free user. Goodbye. Going back to ad-free Lichess now.

I've been doing the puzzles for several years. Most are very good. But the scoring has gotten ridiculous lately... what changed? When I get a difficult puzzle correct, I get +5 points.. ok.. fine.. but when I miss a similar difficult puzzle (multiple trade moves... multiple moves to consider) I get negative 20 points! I'm currently at about 2000. I've been there for a long time. it's impossible to get beyond that. maybe that's my level of incompeten incompetence. I'm ready to quit

Too much in the web version is broken here. There's no coach voices, no coach commentary on puzzles, and no way to save analyses on the analysis board. When you review a game with the coach, it tells you about all your missed opportunities were, but doesn't actually show them to you like it does in the web version, which is pretty important to being able to learn from your mistakes. Having it installed means you can't use the website anymore, so there's no good reason to install this.

This is a very fun game and a well made app. The only disappointing thing from my perspective is that I haven't won a game yet, as other players forfeit when I have them boxed in. I've lost the majority of games that I've played, and I genuinely don't mind (im still learning to play). But I wish there was a way for either AI or myself to take over the opposition's turns if they forfeit early. Brilliant app though! Well done to the developers.

Easily the premier way to play chess online, and the mobile version is no different. Smooth controls, tons of gamemodes, support for the biggest events and players, it has it all. The premium version is not fully necessary but it feels worth the price. No matter the level, this is the place to play chess.

The game will force abandon you if you don't play fast enough to it's liking. I still had 2 minutes left on a 3|2 game. This is not the first time either. As a fellow dev, wow. I hope it was AI generated or something because I never said anything about crashing. It does it by design. I have seen it happen to my opponents too. Stop force abandoning games, we were just thinking and still had plenty of time on the clock.

Great app but the "draw" results are ridiculous. People often, too often, simply stall when time is running out which forces the game to end as a draw. So unless you're playing one of the quickest modes (1,3mins) you will run into this issue. The quickest fix is the lengthen the draw calculations so people don't rely on this so much. It's infuriating. Not sure if it's the official rules or it's because you're not making moves that are game ending according to how the AI would move - but dude..

I'll love it more, if it was completely free. in the newer update i am facing some sound glitches on moves. Another problem is that, the mobile app version don't have chaturanga, kings of hills, four-player chess... And also, my friend got achievement for these game for playing but I don't get any even though I have played it many a times on website.. please fix this

The subscriptions are too expensive. Otherwise great app! (I'm trying the $11 subscription since I really wanted unlimited game reviews. I still think all subscription prices are too expensive for what you get, but I bumped up the review to 4 stars since I can't deny how great the experience is. 5 stars if and when prices on each subscription go down.

This app is incredibly easy to use and it's super simple to play a quick game and connect with people. I also enjoy how well monitored the app is, so if people are misusing it it gets taken care of. I would appreciate if they had more free perks instead of needing a premium membership, but you can still get plenty out of it without paying for anything.

Tactics are easier than they used to be, with a difficulty option being added and removed for seemingly no reason. Also buggy. Edit: They re-added the difficulty option. Bumping it to 4 stars for now, premium options are still overpriced and the engine (computer analysis) is laughable compared to it's competitors such as lichess, which are free.

Please add a "history" or "review" feature for games played against bots and real players, including when using the bot coach.
