love this app. one thing that would be really cool is to have a two-player feature where you have one phone or tablet between two people and they play on the same device, bringing the digital experience that little bit closer to playing on a real board. the tricky bit would be making the pieces look good from both ways so that one person doesn't have to look at them upside down

This is a well made game ruined by players. Lately, the majority of games I've played end up with my opponent abandoning the game the moment they realize they are in a losing position. I don't mean resigning, I mean either just leaving the game resulting in the abandon timer running down, or in the worst cases, keeping the game active but not doing anything, hoping I'll leave first so that they will win. I once had to wait over 8 minutes for the timer to run out while my opponent did nothing!

I am on an Android phone playing chess for fun a lot, and It's great with only a few problems. First, I can't play all the variants (only Chess960), meaning I can't get that many achievements. Second is overall lagginess, but that might be just my phone.

great app. I just hate the change they made that makes that awful annoying sound when the king is in check and you touch any other piece. I like having sounds enabled in the game but not that annoying fart sound with the king in check. please let us disable that. just a flashing red square is enough of a reminder for me.

I want to report that your abandon rules are terrible. I play chess on my phone and in the middle of the game (just after I lost a piece so I was down only 3 points) I got a text. I took less than a minute to respond to them and come back and I lost. This is rediculous. There is no way it should ever abandon in under 2 minutes. Life goes on while games are happening and sometimes one must for a VERY BRIEFLY step aside to take care of personal things. I feel cheated o

Just 1 star to highlight some key issues that should have been solved already. 1. Bot games are not automatically saved 2. If you review the game and then save it afterwards, you can not review it again on the more advanced analysis, but if you save and then review you can. This makes the chessup2 board less appealing due to the fact games against bots aren't saved automatically and therefore can't be reviewed on chessup2 which is supposed to have "integration"

Great for learning but when playing bots it would better (in my opinion) if you could do take back on the last move rather than it ending the game completely so you can learn from your mistake and replay it so you can try a different move, I'm very new to chess and often end in a draw or get check mated without seeing it coming and although you can review the game and see where you went wrong I think it would help me at least to be able to take back the game ending move and continue.

What happened to game reviews?! The new version is awful. Absolutely horrible experience, and it's so jarring to use it now. Wish I could install the old version. Smh. Puzzles are also still really buggy and often freeze (every 3-4 puzzles). I do puzzles way more than games, so it's a huge issue for me. Paying 120/yr, I expected better. I cancelled premium and wow, the experience is absolutely awful as a free user. Goodbye. Going back to ad-free Lichess now.

I've been doing the puzzles for several years. Most are very good. But the scoring has gotten ridiculous lately... what changed? When I get a difficult puzzle correct, I get +5 points.. ok.. fine.. but when I miss a similar difficult puzzle (multiple trade moves... multiple moves to consider) I get negative 20 points! I'm currently at about 2000. I've been there for a long time. it's impossible to get beyond that. maybe that's my level of incompeten incompetence. I'm ready to quit
