Description
Been playing Cogs for a couple months now. It’s basically a puzzle game where you build these really cool, complex machines using sliding tiles. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: You start with simple puzzles to learn the different widgets – gears, pipes, balloons, chimes, all that. And there’s two other modes – one where you have to solve the puzzles super fast, and another where you only get a few moves. So it’s not just about solving it, you gotta do it quick and efficient too.
Look, if you’re into strategy and puzzle games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and it can get repetitive after a while – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Cogs. I've tested a bunch of puzzle games and this one's definitely one of the better ones. There's tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming, and the graphics look great even on older phones. It's also free-to-play, which is nice. But I do wish the progression wasn't so grindy, and the ads can get annoying if you don't pay. Overall though, it's a pretty fun and polished puzzle game that I'd recommend giving a shot.
