Description
Been playing Cookie Clicker (ad-less) for a couple months now. It’s basically an idle game where you tap to bake cookies, then use those cookies to buy upgrades that bake more cookies automatically. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you do: Tap the big cookie to start baking. There’s also a bunch of buildings you can buy that will produce cookies for you, like grandmas and farms. And as you get more cookies, you can unlock all sorts of upgrades – it’s got a ton of strategic depth. Took me a while to figure out the best upgrade path, but it’s a fun system to optimize.
Look, if you’re into idle/clicker games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades start taking forever at higher levels – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out, especially since there’s a free version too.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Cookie Clicker (ad-less). I've tested a bunch of idle/clicker games and this one's pretty dang good. The core loop of tapping to bake cookies, then using those cookies to buy more production is super addictive. And I really like the upgrade system - there's a ton of depth there without being overwhelming. The graphics are great too, with that classic pixel art style. Only real downside is that it can get a bit repetitive after a while, and the late-game upgrades take forever to unlock. But overall, I'd say it's one of the better idle games out there.
Pros & Cons
Pros
- Tons of strategic depth without being overwhelming
- Graphics look great and run smooth on older phones
- Free to play, don't need to spend money to enjoy it
- Saves your progress so you can come back later
- Lots of achievements and upgrades to unlock
Cons
- Upgrades take forever at higher levels
- Can get a bit repetitive after a while
- Ads can be annoying if you don't pay for the ad-free version

i love the game there virtually no difference between the 2. developer hasn't updated the game to add the rest of the pc stuff since may 2023.
It's way too easy to accidentally wipe your save, and there are no Cloud backups. I just lost everything.
The original cookie clicker experience. Amazing app and fun game which occasionally tests your patience (that's by design!). The desktop version has some extra features but you can click cookies...
