Description
Been playing this Crab Forward game for a couple months now. It’s basically an arcade-style game where you control a giant crab that’s constantly moving forward. Your job is to tap either side of the screen to make the crab move left or right, dodging the obstacle fences. If you crash into one, the game restarts.
The farther you go, the higher your score. And there are gold coins scattered around that you can collect for bonus points. It’s a pretty simple concept but it’s actually pretty addicting. I find myself coming back to it whenever I’ve got a few minutes to kill.
Look, if you’re into casual arcade games, you’ll probably enjoy Crab Forward. It’s not perfect – the difficulty ramps up pretty quick and it can get repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a solid time-waster that’s worth checking out, especially since it’s free to play.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on Crab Forward. I've tested a bunch of casual arcade games and this one's a pretty solid addition to the genre. The controls are simple and responsive, and the graphics have a fun, quirky style. I will say it can get a bit repetitive after long play sessions, but for quick bursts it scratches that arcade itch. And I appreciate that it's free-to-play without being overly pushy on the microtransactions.
