Description
I’ve been playing Cut the Rope for a couple months now. It’s basically a physics-based puzzle game where you gotta cut ropes to guide this cute little monster named Om Nom to the candy. Sounds simple but it gets pretty challenging after a while.
There’s tons of levels to play through – over 400 spread across 17 different worlds. Each level has you maneuvering the ropes and platforms to get the candy to Om Nom. It’s got some pretty clever physics puzzles that make you think. And there’s fun little cutscenes with Om Nom’s adventures that are pretty entertaining.
Look, if you’re into casual puzzle games, you’ll probably dig this. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a bit annoying if you don’t pay – but overall it’s a solid time waster that’s worth checking out.
Editor Opinion
So here's my take on Cut the Rope. I've tested a bunch of puzzle games and this one's pretty darn good. The graphics and animations are super polished, and the physics-based gameplay is both simple to grasp but challenging to master. It's the kind of game that's easy to pick up and play for a few minutes at a time. But I will say it can get a bit repetitive after a while, and the progression does start to slow down if you don't pay. Still, it's a great free-to-play game that's worth a download if you're into this kind of thing.
