So here's my honest take on Dawncaster: Deckbuilding RPG. I've tested a bunch of card games and this one's up there. The strategic depth is awesome, you can really min-max your deck. But it's not overwhelming - the tutorial does a nice job of explaining things. The graphics are great too, feels more premium than a lot of other mobile card games. My only real gripe is the progression can get grindy, especially once you hit the higher levels. But if you don't mind that, it's a pretty solid game overall.

Description

Been playing Dawncaster: Deckbuilding RPG for a couple months now. It’s basically a deck-building game where you go on an epic quest, collect cards, and battle other players. Pretty solid app if you’re into strategy games.

Here’s what you do: you pick a character class like rogue or warrior, then build up your deck of over 900 unique cards. And there’s also a clan system where you team up with friends to take on other clans – that’s where it gets really fun. And the graphics are pretty cool, the cards are all hand-illustrated.

Look, if you’re into deck-building games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades can take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want a strategic challenge.

I've played a ton of roguelike deck-builders (StS, Night of the Full Moon, Rogue Adventure, Krumit's Tale, etc etc). I have maybe 10 hours in on this one, my pros...
