Been playing DEAD CITY – Choose Your Story for a couple months now. It’s basically an interactive chat story where you guide a character named Sam through a post-apocalyptic zombie world. Pretty solid app if you’re into text-based adventure games.
Here’s what you do: you get messages from Sam in real-time, and you have to choose how to respond. There’s also a bunch of different storylines and endings depending on the choices you make. And it’s got some cool graphics and sound effects that really pull you into the story. And the writing’s pretty good – took me a while to figure out all the different paths.
Look, if you’re into choose-your-own-adventure type games, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the pacing can be a bit slow at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want an engaging zombie story you can play on your phone.
