what kind of garbage balance is this? on episode 2 with Thief, you have to try 5 times to even pass the first combat encounter. it's not fun, and it's not about how well you play. it's just random
Reviews for Dicey Dungeons
Just as good as it was is on other platforms! Now that I have it on mobile this will likely be my main way to play! Simple to understand, hard to master. Perfect for touch controls, and very fun to play for long stretches of time, or just for 5 minutes and continue later. I initially received the game in the Yogscast Jinglejam bundle, and since then I have purchased both the Switch version and now this Android version because I love the game so much!
Best game I've played on my phone! I just finished the last challenge I had left, after beating all episodes + bonus episodes. I picked it up as a time killer and ended up playing full hours-long play sessions of it. No ads, fun game play modes, and enough content that it took me four months to power through it all. Such a good game for mobile! 10/10, do recommend! :D
Amazing! It's a wonderful port and works pretty nicely on Samsung Dex. The only issue I'm having there is that it's hard to activate my limit break but if I click the button again in a certain spot it'll work. I love the game and easy to pull out and play anytime I want. I love that it'll save progress for you if you need to put it away for a moment. One of the best games you can get on phone imo.
Absolutely phenomenal! Bite-Sized play design means that I can play for 5 minutes at a time and not get lost or have forgotten where I'm at. Solid core mechanic with the right balance between randomness and skill. Enough variation on the core theme to keep things interesting and novel for a long time! Very nearly a perfect mobile game experience!
The game is lackluster and for a game that ups difficulty, it really makes no sense for an rng dice based game. More contradictive than anything. The only mechanic that brings difficulty is the different spells that you will be forced to use. You would think the solution to this is better strategy but you literally can't when the game is solely RNG.
I remember struggling to play this game on steam remote play and thinking that it would be a perfect mobile game if it was ever released to Android. Color me surprised - this is a practically perfect mobile port. This game is similar to card fighting games with interesting twists to change up your playstyle as you advance through the story (or choose to skip if you feel like it). I highly recommend it!
Game so nice I bought it thrice! I had it on PC first then Switch, but I can't have either at work so snagged it on the phone for my break time ☺️ (and I don't have to share my phone with the kids like I do the switch!) It's a roguelike so you have to be prepared for the randomness that is, but the different challenge doors and vastly different playstyles of the characters keep you from feeling stuck in it. It's a game I put down and still come back and binge months later. Highly recommend!
Great game... just love every aspect of this game. It takes a lot of skills to play with the other characters and each character offers a different way to play making the game feel new every time you play. Love that you can edit your progress too. I accidentally deleted the game. It also let's you enjoy the full game with all characters. I wish more developers did this with their games. A+++ highly recommend
This is the superior way to play the game! I bought this game on switch, spent maybe an hour or two on it. Something didn't feel right. When I got the mobile version it was very clear this game was begging for touch support! I've spent at least 20 hours on here and having a blast. Worth every penny!
