This game has so much potential. but due to the ridiculous amount of coins it takes to play it makes it obnoxious. 1st as you advance it requires more coins just to play the level. 2nd it cost an insane amount of coins to purchase +5 cards while you're in a level. And even after you do that, you don't even get cards you can use. if I'm spending 17k coins for just 5 cards, I should be able to use them. if I'm down to 2 cards and have 10+ left I should have usable cards. fix your algorithm.
Reviews for Disney Solitaire
This game is flat out cash grab! it's fun at first, then it takes forever to go to the next scene because doing the solitaire part you run out of cards and you spend tons of coins to finish one level! I had to buy 45k coins and spent all on one level because they aren't fair with the flips! you waste a lot of coins! the wilds are a waste in coins! 9k to get one wild! not worth it! fun at first, but after scene frozen you'll get frustrated! I'm uninstalling! it's not right!
Want to like it, but it's seeming borderline rigged to lose. It's not just wow I'm unlucky. It's I've gotten the same number 3 times in a row, wasting 3 draws. When there's already 2 of said number on the board. Past level 50 and now grinded to a halt fast. Nothing really to even do at this point, I'm not paying for anything in a game that makes their cash grab so obvious.
You quickly realize this is a money grab and that its rigged to not let you win. The concept of the game & graphics are amazing, but after playing for awhile and getting to the higher levels its near impossible to advance. First, you amass a ton of coins and then its as if it purposely doesnt allow you to win anything. So then you spend actual money to get ahead only for your coins to quickly disappear in a few levels. I love this game, I just wish it wasn't a money grab.
I downloaded this game on launch day. It is very cute and fun! I am currently on level 180. However, I had to spend quite a bit of real money to get that far. I feel the game would be more enjoyable with a better cost-to-winnings ratio.bI will continue to play when I can, but I refuse to dump money into the game every other day just to keep progressing. I also feel that most of the mini-games involved are pretty much unobtainable unless you're winning to spend a good amount of money.
So the game is polished, looks good, etc, etc. The thing I'm wondering is if it purposely feeds you levels you can't win in order to (potentially) entice you to spend money? UPDATE. I've played a lot and determined 2 things, don't spend money. Just stop when you're done. Save coins throughout the day and play casually. Events always end, new ones start. You'll always fluctuate coins. I had 500k yesterday, played for hours, then lost it all in minutes. Don't drop real money unless you want to.
This game started off great. As you progress through the levels, however, it becomes incredibly difficult to play without spending money. Coins get drained very fast. I understand it's disney and as a huge dinsey fan myself I was drawn to the app, however, there are many other solitaire options out there that don't try to drain your bank account.
I had to edit this review after playing awhile more. My biggest gripes with this game that actually makes so angry is the fact you have to pay coins to play a level which, that in itself, is absolutely absurd. Then, you can flip SEVERAL cards with not a single move. So many times I can get down to one card and have 8+ cards left, and flip them all either not a single playable move. So, now you are telling me I have to spend coins for a wild or add more cards or just to replay the level? insane
Not truly solitaire because you're not playing with 1 or even just 2 decks of cards, but a random pull of any possible card at any time. The randomization is also clearly stacked against you, especially the longer you play. And gameplay continuation becomes unmanageably expensive for in-game currency, so that you're not playing more often than you are. When you do get a run going, it is satisfying, but that's so rare.
The game is cute and fairly easy for the first two chapters. once you hit the third, you are consistently having to spend all your coins for either more cards or a wild card to complete levels. I'm able to do 1 sometimes 2 plays before I've used all my coins and have to wait for more. Now, you can then purchase coins through their many "Specials" going on if you don't want to wait. I do like that there are no ads, aside from their own pop-ups wanting you to purchase with real money.
