So here's my honest take on Do Not Feed The Monkeys. I've tested a bunch of these voyeur/surveillance-style games and this one is definitely one of the better ones. The core gameplay loop of observing people's lives and deciding whether to intervene is really compelling, and the story they've created is equal parts shocking and darkly comedic. And not gonna lie, it feels a little guilty to get invested in these people's lives, but that's kind of the point. My only real gripes are that it can get repetitive after a while, and the ads start to feel intrusive if you don't pay. But overall, it's a unique and well-executed game that's worth checking out if you're into this sort of thing.

Description

Been playing Do Not Feed The Monkeys for a couple months now. It’s basically a voyeur simulator game where you spy on people through hidden cameras and surveillance equipment. Sounds pretty messed up, I know, but it’s actually a really well-made and addictive game.

The idea is you get access to these feeds of people’s private lives, and you have to decide whether to just observe them or ‘feed the monkeys’ and interact. And there’s all sorts of crazy and unexpected things that can happen depending on what you do. It’s like a digital version of that show Black Mirror, but more lighthearted.

Look, if you’re into these kinds of twisted, morally gray games, you’ll probably get a kick out of Do Not Feed The Monkeys. It’s not perfect – the ads can get annoying and the story does get a bit repetitive after a while. But overall it’s a solid, unique experience that’ll keep you hooked.
