Reviews for DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE

← Back to DRAGON BALL Z DOKKAN BATTLE

Honestly, it's one of the best games that I have been playing since I began watching DB. I love the animation style, fighting strategies, and overall accuracy. Although it starts out simple, the complexity due to synergies is what really sells this game. Above that collecting characters has been a blast, and im excited to see what lies ahead!

I've been paying Dokkan Battle since the 3rd Anniversary on Glabal. The game has changed a lot over the years, most of the changes were quality of life improvments. The Free 2 Play units are almost as good as the "Pay 2 Play"*(depending on type of event/difficulty). The Art and Animation has been amazing. The voice overs are the actual voices from DragonBall(both English and Japanese, IDK about other languages Haven't checked) lots of discounts and bonuses for the in game purchases.

Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle is a game I have a very mixed opinon on. The game itself is fun, and there's certainly not a lack of content. However, the game can be a bit repetitive at times, as the gameplay itself not super in depth. The animations in game are beautiful, especially with newer, or updated cards, and there are plenty of opportunities to get Dragon Stones to preform summons on the various banners. This game is certainly not for everyone, but it can be fun if you give it a chance.

This game has really stepped up their communication with the player base. The game might crash occasionally on big updates, and other than that there is one problem that REALLY needs to be acknowledged. There isn't quite enough in game currency given out for free. If they added more free dragons stones, this game will run strong for years from now. Overall I really do like this game, and there is still plenty more room for improvement. I do reccomend downloading if you are a fan of, Dragon Ball, anime, or gacha games. Keep it up Dokkan Battle, and then you won't end up being a dumpster fire like Dragon Ball Legends currently is.

This is a really fun game. Good graphics, lots of characters, and easy to play. Overall, getting a strong team isnt too hard since the opportunities to get high quality characters are plentiful, and summon rates of top characters on banners is pretty good. Earning enough stones through regular gameplay isnt too difficult if you have the patience to save and wait for a characters summon banner you want to roll around. Awesome game!!!

I've had this game for several years, YEARS! I absolutely love this game. I picked it up shortly after it's released and have been playing since. Personally I really enjoy all the art and special cut scenes for each characters individual abilities. They were really cheesey early game. However, they've done quite well getting it up to DB cheese factor. I've paid multiple times for in game content. Unfortunately, it has gotten more expensive. I get inflation, but not over due prices. DL it n enjoy

If you looks pass the summon rates trolling people this is actually a great game. Strategy, great characters with some having awesome animations, and a couple different modes. I do enjoy it and tend to play and somewhat compete with my friends. At the same time there are pros and cons but the pros outweigh the cons to me!! It makes the game that much better!!

We Are Dokkan. Great game. They have gone to great lengths to make the new players feel welcomed and ease them into all the mechanics. while there will be parts of the game where you're told "figure it out yourself," you could go online for some help or just learn by yourself. that's the best part about this game, you can learn Everything by yourself

There is a lot of stuff to play that's always available, a lot of free content that can get you in a place where you can accomplish a majority of what's available, and the animations on the newer units has gotten so much better. However, as a gacha game, it is a prime example of "power creep", so expect to need the newest units to be able to keep up with the newest content.

used to DBL menu instead, but it's something I got used to over time. though, why are some things censored when your naming your teams?? gets annoying. i find this more fun to play than legends though. Finally synced and it is GREAT. Also, battle motions. Some of them are great, and some are.. low effort. Anyway, the fights in this game aren't blind. You need a proper team, strategy, (and a brain.) They challenge you as it takes multiple. MULTIPLE. times to beat something.

Updated - With the third anniversary, figured it was a good time to come back to this review. Many of this game's flaws are still present, power creep is a big issue (though nowhere near as bad as it used to be), bug fixes and new features are still slow to trickle out, and there's still significant issues in version parity between the Global and Japanese versions of the game. That said, it's a lot better than it used to be, and the new content is headed in the right direction. F2P Ginyu Force,

Overall, my most played game. Love everything about it. One issue that's been a thorn in my side is daily login, and it's been going on for a while now. I login a little after the day turnover for the game, 7:15pm EST, 8:15pm DST/EST. When I login the next day, after turnover, I'm reset to day 1, unless I actually login the next day before the turnover. Meaning my logins aren't recognized for the day. If this can be helped, I'd leave 5 stars.

I love this game. There's a lot of cool animations and throwbacks if you're a fan of Dragon Ball, of any era. There are no ads. There is no incentive to spend money because the game rewards you bountifully just for playing. The game is updated regularly and new characters with new awesome animations are added, this truly feels like the type of mobile game you don't see anymore.

I just started but I kinda like it, very cool and right now there's a lot for beginners! Update! This game is awesome, lots of easy battles as well as hard battles, awesome animations and awesome units!!!! Edit: This game is still amazing, it takes strategy and skill and is fun even if u lose a stage, and you can get very strong very fast.

Been playing for years. I only spend a dollar here or there, so it's not pay-to-win. I have plenty of awesome teams and can compete with the best of em. Love this game. A must have for people who love the animation and like collecting and strategy games. addendum. it has been years and although you can still play without spending money, the difficulty of new battles aren't even fun. they artificially inflate the difficulty. Its getting boring. I'm considering leaving all together.

Very fun game, I'm completely f2p and have gotten nost of the best characters in the game atp. only thing I'd complain about is just how big this game is getting file wise. I remember just around a year ago this game only being 16gb, but now is almost 21gb. it's not horrible, but if you have photos and videos on your phone, plus other apps; this game will take up a lot of space, even for a 128gb phone.

What a Mobile Game. I haven't spent any money on this game since I started and I am still able to obtain the best characters. This has the perfect mix of completely free to play and a pay to summon (no need really). No in game ads, you can earn dragon stones easily to get better characters. Overall if your a DB fan, I would 100% playing it, or at least give it a try

Have been playing this game since the 2nd anniversary, and it has remained one of my all-time favorites. The community is hilarious and amazing to be around, the animations are top notch, the gameplay is addicting, the OST is insane, and the game has actually taught me the chances of probability. The only small gripe I have is that the friend system needs a major revamp since it's dated in my opinion. Overall, WILL continue playing until the day it truly ends.

It's extremely fun, especially because of how easy it is. It's like Candy Crush, Pokémon, and Dragon Ball all fussed. Sometimes, I don't understand how to get or beat some levels, but this game is EXTREMELY rewarding even if you don't play for a while or know what your doing, and I really love that. It's not pay to win. Instead, it's just play and have fun. Great art, aswome animation, great cutscene, etc. The developers really put their love into this game 10/10

Very cool game. Wish there was more story quests and have better pull rates for single summons/World Tournament banners, but it's fun to play here and there. Edit: Well I've been on and off for years and I have to say, every time I'm on feels like fun. Grinding and playing events out are great, and my cards are nothing short of badass. Free to play all the way, enjoyed every second, even now. Yeah y'all just keep doing what you're doing!
