It makes a satisfying rattling sound and the heartbeat gets faster as you get low on health. There’s also a Plague tracker that tallies your level and triggers little animations when you hit thresholds. Neat stuff.
Look, if you’re into strategy games and dungeon crawling, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the upgrades take forever at higher levels and the ads can get annoying. But overall it does the job of enhancing the tabletop experience. Worth checking out.
