So here's my take on FINAL FANTASY VI - I've played a bunch of retro JRPGs and this one is up there with the best of them. The story is epic and the cast of characters is super memorable. The combat system has a ton of depth, but it never feels overwhelming. And the classic 2D art style looks great, even on modern phones.

The only real downsides are that the pacing can drag a bit in the early/middle parts, and the difficulty curve is a little uneven. But overall, it's a fantastic JRPG experience that fans of the genre will really enjoy. If you're looking for an old-school adventure with a modern touch, FINAL FANTASY VI is an easy recommendation.

Description

I’ve been playing FINAL FANTASY VI for a couple months now. It’s basically a classic JRPG with a really cool retro style. The story is basically about this war that made magic disappear from the world, and then centuries later they find this young woman with magical powers. It’s got a huge cast of playable characters, each with their own goals and destinies, and you get to see how their stories all tie together.

The combat system is pretty deep – there’s this magicite system that lets you customize what abilities and spells your party can use. And the boss battles can get really intense, you gotta use the right strategy. There’s also a ton of optional content and sidequests if you wanna dig deeper.

Look, if you’re into old-school JRPG adventures, you’ll probably love this. It’s not perfect – the pacing can feel slow at times and the difficulty spikes are kinda rough. But overall it’s a super solid RPG experience that captures the magic of the classics. Definitely worth checking out.

This is beautiful remake of a genuine classic. It's fun to re-live all those moments again. My only "beef" is that almost every second battle seems to be a back...
