I've tested a bunch of kids' adventure games and Freddi Fish 2: Haunted School is one of the better ones I've played. The graphics have a really charming, hand-drawn style and the world is fun to explore. And the gameplay is pretty straightforward but there's enough variety with the mini-games and activities to keep it feeling fresh. The only real downside is that the puzzles can get a little too obtuse at times, making you resort to the hint system more than you'd like. But for young fans of Freddi Fish, this is a great continuation of the series.

Description

Been playing Freddi Fish 2: Haunted School for a couple months now. It’s basically an adventure game where you play as the underwater detective Freddi Fish. You and your buddy Luther have to go to school and investigate some spooky ghost sightings.

There’s all kinds of cool stuff to discover – you can click around the school and find hidden items, mini-games, and even sing-a-longs. And the locations are really well-designed, with stuff like sunken ships, submarines, and the lost city of Atlantis. It’s not just a straight adventure either, there’s a bunch of fun side activities to keep you busy.

Look, if you’re into classic point-and-click adventures, you’ll probably get a kick out of this. It’s not perfect – the puzzles can be a little obtuse at times and the story is pretty basic. But overall it’s a solid game that’ll keep you entertained, especially if you’re a Freddi Fish fan.
